A statement from Mark Lester, Director of The Finchley Clinic about Medcare (Ozonated Olive Oil).

As an ozone therapy practitioner (though no longer seeing new patients), I have played around with and sold several brands of ozonated olive oil over the last 10 years. All of them were beneficial. However when I came across Medcare, I knew I had arrived. This brand is dearer than the other brands we previously sold, and I can and will gladly recommend customers where to go if they want to buy a cheaper product which will be reasonably effective. But the reason why I switched brands was simply because Medcare outshone all the others by a mile. I beleived that the extra cost is worth it, and if you have previously tried another ozonated olive oil, you will too. In fact I am so sure of this, that if you buy Medcare and have previously used any other ozonated olive oil product, and the one you used previously was more effective (which it won't be), I would give you a refund less our shipping costs. I can make this offer, because I know for certain that our product is superior, so nobody will be be able to make such a claim with integrity. We will have the integrity to stick to our word even if any customer does make such a claim.

Medcare is also more practical than the other brands (though this was not the primary motivation for switching brands) as it does not require refrigeration.

You may notice that Medcare has a slightly grainy texture when applied. Although its not terrible and the graininess breaks down when massaged into the skin anyway, we agree that it doesn't feel quite as nice and smooth as would be ideal. This is from the emulsifier - sorbitan polivate. The manufacturers can make the product smoother by removing this ingredient and adding a different emulsifier. But there is a catch : it will feel nicer, but it will be at the expense of using a less natural ingredient. It's a finely balanced question - so much so that we are thinking of offering both options so that customers can decide for themselves. It's still miles better than any other ozonated product we have tried from other manufacturer, so even if we change the product slightly, we will not be changing manufacturers

What Ozonated Olive does

Although the most popular use of Ozonated Olive Oil amongst our customers is for helping with thrush and skin fungus, it can be used for any kind of skin condition in order to reoxygenate tissue topically, and is great for facial application.

What is Ozonated Olive Oil?

Ozonated Olive Oil is produced when ozone is bubbled through olive oil continuously for an extended period of time. During this time the olive oil changes to an off-white paste. This procedure usually takes 3-6 months of 24 hr. a day bubbling.

Medcare Vs. Cocozone

Medcare is not as pleasant smelling as Cocozone (Ozonated Coconut Oil), but it has the advantage that it does not require refrigeration and stores ozone more efficiently. Ozonated Olive Oil also has very long history of use throughout the world. Nonetheless, a few people prefer Cocozone, possibly because coconut oil has therapetic effects in its own right whether it has been ozonated or not, or possibly just because ozonated coconut oil agrees with some people better than ozonated olive oil.

What is the shelf life of Ozonated Olive Oil?

There is no expiry date for Ozonated Olive Oil. Dermozone Medcare does NOT require refrigeration, and this alone makes it far more practical to use than all other similar products we have come across.

About Ozone

Ozone is an unstable, but highly beneficial molecule. It's the tri-atomic form of oxygen: Instead of the normal arrangement of 2 atoms of oxygen (O2), ozone is comprised of 3 atoms of oxygen (O3). Ozone, however, doesn't want to stay in that tri-atomic state very long and unless held in check or bound by other molecular couplings (like ozonated olive oil), ozone will break down from O3 to O2 + O1 within 20 minutes or so. O1 is called a singlet oxygen atom and it is highly reactive with just about any substance that should not be in the human body. It is a universal cleansing agent.

Usage

Used externally for oxygenation of tissue. Apply 2 to 3 times daily as needed by rubbing into the affected areas.

Start by using a very small amount to begin with around the labia majora only. You should apply the oil in a little deeper in increments over a few days or in a few very severe cases a few weeks. If you do this, it will not cause stinging which a few ladies have complained of. You can also insert one capsule of bio-kult into the area once or twice a day for further relief.
