Vitamin C has become so well known since the publication of the books "Vitamin C and the Common Cold" in the early 70's, and later on"Vitamin C and Infecticious Diseases" that we hardly need to say very much about the remarkable health benefits of this critical detoxifying, antioxidant, anti aging, collagen building, immune building, anti viral (anti flu and cold) and general infection fighting vitamin. Countless papers have been published demonstrating the health benefits and safety of supplementing ones diet with Vitamin C. Significant amounts are found in our product Antioxidant Supreme but there is a much larger amount per capsule in our Ultra Pure Vitamin C.

The body does not produce or store Vitamin C. The government RDA (reccomended daily allowance) for Vitamin C is a mere 60mg per day but this figure is based on what has been observed to be sufficient to prevent scurvy, which is a diseases caused by such grossly deficient levels of Vitamin C in the body that the tissues start to break down. Scurvy eventually leads to death.

However, the RDA is not based on optimal amounts for health and well being, which most nutritionists beleive are far in excess of 60mg.

Although you can buy Vitamin C anywhere these days, there are problems with 99% of the brands you can buy in health food shops

(i) They are nearly always sourced from Corn, which is frequently allergenic (according to my mentor 65% of the population are intolerant of corn). The energy signature of the corn (or perhaps remnants of the corn itself) remain in the corn based products, and they frequently test badly according to the technique known as kiniesiology.

(ii) They usually contain citrus bioflavanoids to 'improve' the absorbtion. And once again, a large proportion of people are allergic to the citrus element, making its inclusion completely counter productive. Besides which the quantities added are usually ineffective anyway to assist the vitamin C absorbtion. In other words it's a marketing ruse.

Our Vitamin C, is the only one on the market which we are aware of which is sourced from Sago instead of Corn, which almost nobody is allergic to. It is therefore hypoallergenic. It consists of 1g of 99.9% Vitamin C in the form of Ascorbic acid in veggie (vegetarian) capsules with no unecessary funny stuff in it. Each pot contains 90 capsules.

Contrainidications.

i) People with high stomach acid (e.g. ulcers etc) should not take Vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid
ii) Vitamin C occasionally causes gas if taken in high dosages.
