My daughter now 2 and a half has top to toe eczema she has been hospitalised and it has caused much pain for her and us.She was bound a night in wet bandages and unable to use her hands freely (because of scratching)untill 1 months old and now has silk garments with mitts on at night. I think you get how bad it is! The only treatment that works for her is the dreaded Hydrocortisone 1% which we use every 12 hours- if left more than that the bumps and itching starts. We also buy pure unrefined shea butter( which it costly) as her emollient. I have tried every treatment out there with hope of erasing hyrocortisone from her skin as it is soo damaging.
After reading Marks comments on this product i thought 'why not' well...NO HYDROCORTISONE FOR ONE WEEK NOW!!!!..and still no sign of skin breaking.This has changed our lives greatly. there is no need for the shea butter emollient as this does it aswell also she is not going to bed wet or sticky as it absorbs beautifully in her skin.i have never seen my child with clear skin she always has several patches even with the hydrocortisone but these are healing and there is no irritation,no waking up at night screaming cause she has sweated and irritated her skin.I am not soft but have cried at the greatness this product has done i cant thank Mark and co enough for bringing it to us.
As for the price 4.
pounds a month is nothing compared to the quality of life my daughter has now and the security knowing im not damaging her skin for the future-which hydrocortisone does.The biggest thankyou Pam
