This is an excellent product. I have only bought it once so far and use it intermittently to keep thrush and itching at bay which it has done. I have been very impressed and will be buying it again when I run out.
I found the Cervagyn probiotic vaginal cream excellent, it gives you extra confort in removing itchiness & dryness.A very good product !
My previous review related to this before they reformulated it to an external product. When it changed I was concerned because the previous had been so good and I didn't get on with the new infra fresh pessaries but I returned to this and found that even as an external,product it did the job really well. I would happily recommend it to anyone wanting an end to the misery of thrush or break the cycle of recurrence.
I purchased this for the first time a few weeks ago and it arrived with an applicator for internal use. It worked really well for my thrush and I was really pleased with it, despite some minor stinging for a short time after application.
I bought a second tube but there was no applicator with it, and I understand that Biocare are now recommending their Intrafresh pessaries for internal use instead. These would work out more expensive for me, however, so will be continuing to use Cervagyn as before.
This is the first product that I have found that is really effectively both as treatment for active vaginal thrush and which keeps it away if used regularly. An added bonus is that is is easy and comfortable to use.
Other (mainly external products) I have used haven't suited me nearly as well.
While the full dose may be needed to deal with full blown infection I have discovered half the recommended amount, just once a day (so a quarter of the full treatment dose) is usually enough to prevent recurrance for me - despite all my other efforts previously it has always recurred but this WORKS!
i've had thrush for 2 years, and used the conventional medicines which worked, but it always came straight back.
I decided in desperation to try cervagyn. after about a week, the thrush had gone. So far it hasnt come back, though I am also sticking to a strict anti candida diet which is probably helping too.
I have been a candida sufferer for years, and no matter how many products I took, probiotics, digestive enzymes and vitamins, I always felt I was improving my gut and general well being, but that I needed something for my vaginal health. I was delighted to find this product just a month ago, and even more delighted by the result. I don't think I'll ever look back now, I would recommend it to any female with the same problem.
