Dr Pollock's Dental Super Eight Essentials

This kit consists of the following products, selected by Dr Richard Pollock to accompany dental surgery, support new bone growth, oral health, healing and immunity. 

Please note the exact product contents may change slightly from the list below – for example if one form of zinc is out of stock, we may replace it with another similar zinc product etc in order not to keep customers waiting. Therefore the list below may not be 100% accurate at all times, as we cannot keep changing the information each time we make a minimal change because we won't remember to change it back again! 

1 x Vitamin D3 5000iu with Vitamin K2

1 X Vitamin K2-7 (MegaQuinone K2-7) - High Strength 160mcg per cap (for addition K2)

2 x Olive Leaf Extract. Firstly because it is anti-bacterial and can be used to prevent dental infection. Secondly because it's very good for bone building benefits (see information below).

Suggested Usage

Ideally you should begin this programme about 7 days before surgery, but it's 'better late than never' if you don't do this. We recommend following this programme for about 6 months, though many of the products are good for general health to use indefinitely. We usually recommend following the label dosages except with the following products

1. Magnesium - we recomend 1-2 capsules twice a day 
2. Olive Leaf Extract  - please take 2 capsules twice per day with meals for at least one month after surgery or cavitation treatment. Then the label dosage after that.
3. Vitamin K2-7 (MegaQuinone K2-7) -  1 capsule per day is enough, if taking Vitamin D3 5000iu with Vitamin K2
4. Vitamin C - In the first week after surgery, we would recommend taking 1-2 capsules 3 x per day. The decrease to 1 capsule once or twice per day. 

How long should I stay on this programme?

This is not a straighforward question, as for general health all of these products are beneficial to take long term health for almost everyone and the combination would have countless benefits that go beyond just dental health. The company owner for example takes most of them for general health. In terms of bone healing, we would say ideally you should start a week prior to any major surgery and continue for at least until all treatment with your dentist is completed. However you can and should discuss this in more detail with your dentist as he will know you better than us. 

Important note

It is almost impossible to create a kit where all products last for the same amount of time. Especially because your dentist may recommend you to use these products in different dosages to our suggestions, and if he or she does, you should follow their advice. So this kit is sufficient to get you started, but you may need to consider purchasing the products separately where it comes to re-ordering them.
