- Houttuynia is used both as a culinary herb as well as a therapeutic botanical in the Eastern hemisphere where it is widely used for general detoxification and for ridding the body of harmful bacteria.
Houttuynia is a flowering plant native to Japan, Korea, China and other parts of Southeast Asia. Houttuynia is a herbaceous perennial plant growing to between 20 and 80 cm in height. It is the large heart shaped leaves that have been used traditionally.
Usage
15 drops, 3 times daily in a small amount of water unless otherwise advised by your practitioner. Maximum 60 drops per day.
