Coenzyme Q10 is present in almost every cell offering antioxidant protection and playing a vital role in energy production. It plays a particular role in recycling vitamin E. The highest levels of CoQ10 are found naturally in tissues with high energy requirements such as the heart, liver, kidneys and skeletal muscles.
