Coenzyme Q10 is present in almost every cell offering antioxidant protection and playing a vital role in energy production. It plays a particular role in recycling vitamin E. The highest levels of CoQ10 are found naturally in tissues with high energy requirements such as the heart, liver, kidneys and skeletal muscles. Whilst CoQ10 occurs naturally in the body, our ability to produce it declines with age and dietary intake becomes more important. A supplement can, therefore, be useful to support dietary levels.
The oils and CoQ10 in this product are micellised into droplets that disperse into water to increase absorption. It is then encapsulated within a naturally coloured vegetable capsule to help reduce light-sensitive oxidation.
