Omega 3 Fish Oil 1000mg 180 caps

I wrote this in my blog. (husband takes 8 a day with a positive effect on his PCCI) from - http://my-life-hacks.my-free.website/blog/post-chemotherapy-cognitive-impairment-pcci

This is a personal favourite, the following guidance is based on personal experience and research. You can get some good quality supplements from (here) these are the ones we use because they are pure, premium quality and "oil scrupulously screened for PCB’s and other pollutants" they provide 18mg EPA and 12mg DHA now this is where the dosage becomes interesting. (REF a1) 1,

to 3,

mg of EPA and DHA (combined) from a quality fish oil can be taken - that is between 3 and 1 tablets a day (based on the EPA/DHA dosage not the fish oil content which is normally, and has been used in this calculation 1mg). What I have also noticed alongside the Omega 3, you should take a good quality Multi-vitamin which has a high B vitamin content (changes the colour of the urine) when taking the Omega 3 at these high dosages I have noticed that urine does not alter colour as much as normal - I take this as a good sign that the B vitamins are being absorbed by the body and not just filtered away. Taking omega 3 in this way does seem to have a limited positive effect with MCI and PCCI.
