NADH Rapid Energy 20mg - 60 Sublingual Tablets

As someone with life-long treatment resistant gastrointestinal problems, it was probably no surprise that much of the writing I ended up concentrating on as a journalist for national and London newspapers and magazines was health related: nutrition, natural health and fitness.

I couldn’t have had a cleaner diet, nor been so privileged to interview health experts from dozens of medical specialities. However, nothing could stop my gut worsening, and in my late twenties all semblance of functional life stopped one fateful weekend in spring 28. My health was ripped away.

My body became a warzone, raw agony came to visit every few days, lasting for days and nights on end in the form of intolerable gut pain attacks. And the childhood home I’d driven down to for the weekend became the prison that I have never left.

I’m now 24/7 bedridden, and endure an onslaught of symptoms so shocking, extreme and variedly tortuous I would have each examined for operatic levels of insanity if they were sentient beings. With the contacts I forged as a health-writer, an indefatigable researching spirit and a need to make – more than anything, the gut pains stop – let alone the severe ME/CFS and Lyme disease that wreaks such varied physical havoc, I thought I would find a way back to health.

It has not (yet) happened and I am now iller than ever but still so wildly in love with life and the dream of returning to it.

I’ve worked with specialists in every conceivable field based on all inhabited continents save Africa and nothing has yet helped me.

But the introduction of NADH has done something pretty amazing - it has stopped even further suffering. This may not sound like the greatest endorsement but believe me, the vast number of protocols, products and treatment paths I’ve tried, and the almost weekly mounting of new and shocking symptoms – being spared any excess suffering is a miracle. (I take two a day. In an ideal world I would take more.)

When a disastrously addictive medication ( to my shame I was unaware of this ) was proposed to help my 3 - 7+ hour gut pain attacks left me with far worse symptoms, I believe NADH helped me down from the ledge of the most dangerously high doses.

If I stop taking NADH I am forced to live with one an unbearable neurological symptom: it means I can no longer look at any form of screen, nor can I write notes on a page ( I can’t speak so I have to communicate via typed and written word).

Alone on average 23 hours and 1 minutes a day, my Smartphone is my lifeline to sanity. Lying silent in a bedroom with my eyes shut and no external stimulation save audio-content, my even greater loss of connectedness to life would be so ghastly I don’t know how much more I could take.

NADH may not be the magic panacea which it would be mad to expect exists for so under-researched, multi-systemic, severe and unique condition as mine, but goodness it must pack some power if it is the only thing in nearly a decade that is able to provide a cease and desist order against one of my dozens of cruel symptoms. For this, I say not only thank you NADH and Professor Birkmayer, but infer that if it’s able to help someone as severely compromised as me then its capacity to do good in so many areas of health – I’ve read the research and it’s impressive – must be powerful indeed.

I’m not a betting type and I’ve not been able to endorse any of the marvellously robust and wonderful products or practitioners I’ve worked with until now. But I do endorse this and hope that it will help in far greater and widespread ways people with varied and different complaints and concerns.
