I have an underactive thyroid for which I take thyroxine for. I also take cocodamol for back pain. I think the medication I take has made me severely constipated over the years.
Before trying oxy powder, I tried everything. Prune juice, pear juice, lots of other fruit juices!! I ate the right things. I tried fibre tablets, alternative medicines (I could go on!!) Nothing worked. I would literally go to the loo twice a week and produce the most pathetic pebble poo!
Finally after doing some more research I discovered oxy powder. I thought it was rather expensive, but after reading other reviews decided to try it. IT IS THE ONLY THING I HAVE EVER FOUND THAT WORKS BRILLIANTLY! I have to take 4 tablets to get the required results, but 3 would do for most people. Now I take x 4 oxy powder tablets twice a week, so I can at least go to the loo and release all thats stored up in my bowels twice a week.
I am also a couple of stone over weight and was concerned that not being able poo, was effectiving my weightloss. It has also improved that side of things.
I read alot about this product, as with any alternative product that is not prescribed and is relatively unheard of - I was worried if there was any dodgey side effects or long term problems. I haven't been able to discover anything that says so on the web.
If like me you have a good diet, you exercise regularly and have tried every other means of helping your constipation and they've failed. I highly recommend Oxy Powder.
