I believe Oxypowder saved me a stay in hospital.Five years ago I was hospitalised with acute diverticulis and since then have suffered with occasional episodes of what appears to be complete bowel shut down with days of cramping/discomfort. A few weeks ago I took another bout of diverticulis and my GP prescribed an anti spasm drug and 2 types of antibiotics with the advice they would kick in within 48 hours. In the event I declined to use the anti spasm drug due to the list of possible side effects. Unfortunately after 5 days on the antibiotics they did not seem to have any effect on the pain so I decided to take Oyx-powder - relief within 12 hours! Had I not had Oxy-powder to take the poisons out of my body I am convinced that I would have been hospitalised with possible dire results. I like the fact that Oxy-powder is totally safe and now intend to take it on a very regular basis to see if I can avoid these bowel shut downs - another plus is that the bloating has gone and my stomach is flatter than it has ever been.
