I have used ‘Colosan’ for around 7 years now. My daughter recommended it and I bless her for it. It is the only product I consider safe to use and the only product which will not cause pain in the gut, unlike other laxative or bulking agents.
I had a sluggish bowel in my teens and I am in late middle age now. I have had persistent problems since then and they have increased with time. I have had different diagnoses - for many years it was referred to by doctors as a 'spastic colon' and any substance such as Senna was not recommended as its action would cause immense pain and often, bleeding. I have been hospitalised several times with this problem. Once when I was due to have a colonoscopy the medicinal salts the hospital provided to ensure a clean bowel brought on a full-blown attack and we had to re-schedule! It is now referred to as non-specific colitis although I am sure the ‘umbrella’ diagnoses of IBS would cover all the symptoms too. So I have to take laxatives on a regular basis, although usually only weekly. Contrary to what most folks believe you can have colitis and still be constipated and if you have colitis you never want to allow yourself to become constipated. With all long term health problems the symptoms and ways of handling it progress over time especially if ‘chronic’ and one can experience differing symptoms, changes in symptoms or new symptoms – in my case a diagnosis of 3rd degree internal hemorrhoids, most assuredly from all the years of tension and angst in the gut, not to mention the different remedies used, so must be even more careful as to what laxative I use. ‘Colosan’ is the only one I can depend on and the only one I trust.
I would also recommend using 'Colosan' for a periodic colon cleanse, over a 2 or 3 day period. You will know if you need more or less days as your body will stop eliminating once clean. 'Colosan' seems to liquefy the colon/gut/bowel contents and, I believe, also naturally eliminates the poisons you have been retaining due to your faulty system. I assure you, you will feel great afterwards.
