Having suffered with IBS-C, particularly constipation and bloating for many years I did some research and originally started using Oxy Powder (the original formula). I have tried Colosan and Mag
7, and from my own experience have found that the Mag
7 Powder to give the best results, in terms of promoting a complete bowel movement.
Like many supplements it takes a bit of trial and error in terms of finding the best doseage and time to take, as both of these can have a large bearing on the effectiveness of the supplement. I find that Oxy Powder and Colosan, certainly for me, do not come anywhere near as effective as Mag
7. It seems to work in a far more predictable and dare I say, more pleasant way. I find that bowel movements, although loose, are far more preferable to being constipated, and that although it may take 2 - 3 times on a morning or lunch time, at least I feel that I have actually emptied my bowel.
I have found that I have to be careful with the doseage, as too little or too much can leave me feeling either unemptied, or too crampy and feeling bloated.
