Fivelac

I have used threelac for years. In the past I would use it after taking antibiotics, usually 1 box was enough. Due to candida going a bit mad in my body, I have now been taking it everyday for over 2 years and it keeps me stable. I really feel it when I run out so I make sure I never do! I can eat most things now but have to be careful.

So I thought I'd try fivelac as there is more goodness in there.

Wrong!

It made me feel ill, that horrible upset tummy feeling that makes you feel bad all over. I read some people don't do well on it and i couldn't understand why until I ran across some information about acidophilus.

It turns out if you have a leaky gut, acidophilus can make you feel ill and is best avoided until you heal the leaky gut.

This made a lot of sense. Most candida sufferers do have a leaky gut, myself included, and any time I tried anything with acidophilus it made me feel bad. I know what herxing is like and it wasn't that.

I tried colostrum for leaky gut and it helped a bit but it was L-glutamine that has helped me come a long way in healing the leaky gut. Our digestive tract, from tongue all the way down to colon is the same tissue in different shapes and it uses the l-glutamine to repair itself. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.

Threelac is the only probiotic I use, and with a digestive enzyme and daily glutamine my digestive health has never been better. I was even able to stop the oxygen colon cleaners as I'm regular and 'normal' again.
