I take grapefruit seed extract (Citricidal) for the anti-fungal effect against Candida for which I've had for a number of years. It kills yeast cells and also has an anti-microbial effect on the body. I also like to take it for the effective remedy for UTIs and it really does lessen the burning symptoms and urgency with the bladder and uretha. I'm confident that taking this product helps to make my immune system stronger. I intend to take it over the longer term as I know it destroys unwanted bacteria. I put 10 drops in warm water 3 times a day, 20 minutes before food. I'm very happy with Citricidal and it's gentle enough for people with sensitivity.

I have used in this in the past and have found it effective and affordable for controlling candida - I don't remember the dose. In my experience anti-candida remedies are best taken in rotation (change every 3-4 weeks) to avoid building up a tolerance.

However recently I tried 8 drops twice daily and ended up with badly irritated gut.

This is great stuff to take with you for travel to ensure you don't come down with dreaded tummy upset due to parasites in unclean water/food.

I use citricidal for more than 5 years and I'm completely satisfied. I use it everywhere. I use it to prevent flu or common viruses infections, to sterilize utensils (bottles, jars and tools) that I use for homemade cosmetics and as a preservative in my home cosmetics. I take citricidal with me on trips and I feel "safe" since I feel that I carry an entire pharmacy. I give it to my child from the age of 1 years and since then I feel that citricidal can prevent the common flu and digestive issues.
