Reviews for Plant Based Vitamin D (replaces Suntrex) 5,000iu
its very hard to get vitamin d unless you get a lot of sunlight. very hard to get it in any diet so this was a must buy for me all other places just sell synthetic versions which are just terrible. this form is liquid and its very pure has a sweet natural taste to it especially when its winter this product ensures you still get vitamin d
Super sweet so my kids love it. Easy and quick to take so very convenient. Chose this because the packaging is glass and the ingredients are the “cleanest” I have come across. Organic, no unnecessary fillers etc. Also because it’s derived from lichen not lanolin. Hopefully this keeps my levels up. Can’t really say for certain at the moment. I usually take half a dropper-full (0.5ml) because it IS pricey for the amount of time it lasts. Not sure why such a disparity between its price here compared to the U.S. The other global healing products don’t have this. I’m happy to see a bigger bottle with higher dosage. This will make it go further so I’ll be getting that next.
I have been looking an alternative to the mass market cholecalciferol (sheeps's wool) source of vitamin d3 for a long time and finally found a bio-active form in this bottle. I have been taking 1ml daily for almost 3 weeks. Within a week I felt an improvement in my mood and general sense of wellness. I consider this an absolute essential as we don't get a lot of sun in the UK and it is even more important during the current lockdown. Will be purchasing again once I finish the bottle!
This product is the best vitamin D supplement I've taken to date. After using 4-5 different supplements to normalize my vitamin D levels, Suntrex is way better absorbed by the body and the taste is quite good. I've been taking 4ml per week in winter (as there is no sun where I live during this months) after having any fatty ingredient to optimise the absorption and, for the first time, I didn't get a deficiency during this grey season. I also love that it is raw.
After finding that my new job (working on computers indoors) has depleted my hours in the sunlight (I was a landscape gardener). I have put on pounds. 2 stone to be exact!!! It took me a while to realise what going on, as I keep a good fitness regime and a good diet. That is no good without D3.
So to amend my new sloth "lazy peasants" attitude. I tried this.
Within 7 days and a slight change in meal timing, I lost 1.5 kilo!!!!
Week 2. lost another 2 kilo and my old niggling aches and pains that had recurred
have now gone.
I wish I understood about this earlier (yes. It's not a vitamin it's a body hormone)and our new lifestyles lack it along with Iodine.
Kind regards
Edd.
