The amino acid tyrosine is critical in the production of thyroid hormones, and for maintaing a healthy thyroid gland. This formula provides generous amounts of tyrosine, which people with low thyroid may be deficient in. It also contains iodine, selenium, and nine other vitamins and minerals which are involved in the production of thyroid hormones. A deficiency of any of these nutrients can predispose to less than ideal thyroid function.

Cautions
- May not be suitable for people with a fish or crustacean allergy.
- If taking thyroxine, consult with your doctor if you want to take more than one capsule per day
- Not advisable if pregnant or in cases of melanoma, schizophrenia, high blood pressure or if taking MAO inhibitor drugs
- Please note, some cases of low thyroid are caused by Hashimoto Thyroiditis, which is an autoimmune illness. If you have been diagnosed with this condition or are suspected of having it, please do not use this product without the approval of your doctor.
