Everything You Need To Know About Vitamin K2
How to stop cavities, recover brain and heart health with vitamin K2

To lean more about the critical importance of Vitamin K2 in general, and about the 'MenaquinGold' form of K2 in this product specifically, we strongly recommend watching theYouYube videos above.

MegaQuinone Vitamin K2-7+ is the first vitamin K2 supplement available in the UK retail market to use the pharmaceutical grade MenaQuinGold® K2-7 ingredient. This MegaQuinone formulation has been created to include a therapeutic dose of 320 mcg of vitamin K2-7, plus 200 mcg of Vitamin K1 and the necessary co-factors, magnesium and zinc to allow these K vitamins to function at their optimal level.

If someone is deficient in vitamin K1 (and most people are), and they take a vitamin K2 supplement, the liver will essentially steal the K2 to satisfy its own needs. Therefore, MegaQuinone Vitamin K2-7+ includes enough K1 in the formula to satisfy the liver’s needs, even in the most depleted individuals. This addition of vitamin K1 ensures that vitamin K2 is then available for the vital functions that it needs to perform in the body.

MegaQuinone Vitamin K2-7 vs MyoMax?

The K2 is derived from the the pharmaceutical grade MenaQuinGold® in both cases.

MegaQuinone Vitamin K2-7 also contains Vitamin K1, Magnesium and Zinc as cofactors. Myomax does not contain Vitamin K1, Magnesium and Zinc. But it does contain Calcium Pyruvate which together with K2 especially improves mitochondrial function

Which one is better?

They are both very similar. Obviously the core nutrient is still the same one, so many of the benefits will be the same. However MyoMax helps is prefereable for those seeking to enhance endurance, sports performance, muscular function, cardiac output support, and improve mitochondrial activity. MegaQuinone K2-7 is preferable for those seeking bone remineralisation, blood, and skin support. Because Cura Vitamin K2-7 contains a small amount of Vitamin K1, this one should be avoided by those on blood thinners. For those individuals, Myomax is the only suitable option.

About Vitamin K2:

  • Supports healthy mitochondrial function
  • Supports healthy bone, nerve, heart and arterial health.
  • Improves cardiac output and oxygenation of body tissue

K2-7 & Cardiovascular Function

As the “powerhouse” organ, we heavily depend on our hearts for optimal muscle and body tissue function. Adequate intake of vitamin K2-7 has shown to lower the risk of vascular damage because it activates what is called matrix GLA protein (MGP). MGP prevents calcium from depositing in vessel walls and joint spaces. Vitamin K2-7 is the driver that takes free calcium from the blood, deposits from the arteries, and joint spaces sending it to the bones – thus improving cardiovascular health and bone health. In recent studies, the supplementation of Vitamin K2-7 improved cardiac output by 22% at resting heart rate and 12% at maximum heart rate. This is the definition of performance enhancement. Clinical trials have demonstrated 6-weeks of Vitamin K2-7 supplementation has the ability to increase strength, endurance, cardiovascular, and bone health.

Why is this K2 product so much more expensive than the competition?

K2 is a very unstable compound. According to the manufacturers if you were to test most brands of K2 / K2-7 that are sitting on the shelf they would not have the same potency as declared on the label. The label may be correct at time of manufacture, but not after 6 months or longer. However MenaquinGold™ is the most shelf stable form of K2-7 available and will hold its declared potency for much longer than any other variants.  Also, the K2 is derived from chickpea rather than soya.
