Nattokinase is provided in an enterically coated (delayed release) capsules (from HMPC) to ensure effective opening in the small intestine, bypassing the stomach. 
 

About Nattokinase

Nattokinase was discovered in Japan by research scientist Dr. Hiroyuki Sumi who was looking for a natural remedy for dissolving blood clots. It was originally extracted from natto, which is a fermented soybean based food, popular in some parts of Japan, but hated by most Westerners because of its peculair taste and texture.

Nattokinase and Serrapeptase

Although nattokinase works splendidly as a stand alone product for digesting fibrin, if you are taking serrapeptase, from customer feedback we can say that it further enhances the effect of the serrapeptase.

Micro-crystalline cellulose, 4,000 FU Nattokinase*, Veg Magnesium Stearate, HPMC Vegan & Vegetarian Safe

* We know the term "FU" sounds rude, but it actually stands for Fibrinolytic Units, which is the measurement used for the strength of the product.

Suggested Usage

1-2 capsules daily on an empty stomach (at least 1/2 hour before or at least 2 hours after food). Note, this product will not work properly, if at all, if you do not take it on an empty stomach
