Hi Everyone
This newsletter is quite personal, as I am going to share the shortened version of how I got into Oxygen Therapy, and to a large extent how this company began.
Back in the late 1990’s my mother was very seriously ill, with what turned out to be her final illness. During that time, I received a cassette tape entitled “Oxygen Therapy,” featuring a speaker named Ed McCabe. Unfortunately, I was so busy and stressed at the time that I didn’t actually listen to it for about two years, which was well after her passing. Not that anything would necessarily have saved her if it was her time, but I was immediately pretty cheesed off with myself for not listening to it earlier as the health information it contained was in my view superlative and potentially even life saving. On this tape was a brilliantly explained lecture on the principles of oxygen therapy, and how critical it was for every aspect of health.
Probably the most famous scientist that comes into this discussion, is Otto Warburg, who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine twice, and I read on Wikipedia (which I agree is not a guarantee of accuracy) nominated an astonishing 47 times! If that’s true, is that some sort of world record?. His most famous scientific statement found in countless books, web sites etc, translates from German into English as “Cancer, above all other diseases, has countless secondary causes. But, even for cancer, there is only one prime cause. Summarised in a few words, the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by the fermentation of sugar.” In scientifc circles, this phenomenom is called “The Warburg effect”.
Note 1: I am not a scientist, but I am aware of the fact that there are other theories around cancer causation knocking around. I am not going to get into that here.
Note 2: I am not stating that our oxygen products by themselves cure cancer. Healing is not as simplistic as that, and even it was, that would be the sort of claim that would get us into big trouble with the authorities. I am just saying that proper oxygenation, particularly at the cellular level is a vital step towards optimal health.
In the following months after finally listening to that tape, I became slightly obsessed by all of the different forms of oxygen therapy, and The Finchley Clinic which began life as a clinic using various natural modalities, began to morph into the company we are today, in essence began as a result of my listening to that recording, and buying a couple of oxygen products initially just to try out on myself and my patients. The rest as they say is history. The topic of Oxygen Therapy is too broad to cover in full here, and I am only going to discuss our own oxygen supplements today. For more details of the many different forms of oxygen therapy, I recommend either of the two books by Ed McCabe listed below.

Introducing our liquid oxgenators: Because deep breathing & getting lots of aerobic exercise is great, but is no gaurantee of getting oxygen into the cells.

Oxygen Elements Max and Oxylift – for cellular oxygenation.
These products are both very similar. They have their origins based on the water splitting technology developed by scientist Everett Storey, who after being involved in the development of the nuclear bomb in the 1940’s, turned his skills to healing, rather than killing people. Sounds like something out of James Bond, and possibly hard to believe but that’s the story of Everett Storey nevertheless (yes the pun was intended, couldn’t resist that one). Storey’s idea was to separate the hydrogen from the oxygen found in water (H20), which then left a residue of increased oxygen and biological hydrogen which the cells could use for its benefit. Both the Oxygen and hydrogen (separate subject, not going into this today) being highly beneficial. The precise method by which the ingredients in the product do this, is above my “pay grade” (as I am not a chemist or physiologist), but I know they work. The typical results reported to us include the following : –
1. Significant boosts of physical energy, sports performance, endurance, general vitality, as well as mental energy and clarity. Helps chronic fatigue, and post viral fatigue issues.
2. A general sense of wellness.
3. Improved breathing – potentially helpful for all respiratory concerns (sometimes needs above label dosages).
4. Inhibition of harmful micro-organisms (viruses, bacteria etc) – a lot of customers found it aided recovery from covid for example.
5. Inhibition of candida and fungi (best combined with probiotics for this purpose)
6. Much less regular colds and flu’s (see the above point!).
7. Improved immunity
8. Based on animal studies (which morally, I detest) carried out by a Dr Gary Shimma, inhibition of arterial plaques. Therefore potentially beneficial for cardiovascular concerns, stroke prevention etc (this requires fairly long term usage for optimal results)
9. Blood and lymph detoxification. It’s worth noting here that we recommend starting on a low dosage for a week or two (for example half of the label dosage), as a few people feel lousy initially because they are detoxifiers.
10. Anecdotal reports of very significant beneficial effects on serious illness. (Usually on above label dosages – typically 3 x the label dosages which are the suggested use for general wellness)
Which one is better?
Though similar, there are some small differences between these essentially rival brands. In brief, Oxygen Elements Max is actually the stronger of the two to the degree that it’s more concentrated, and Oxylift is stronger in the sense of having the benefits of the subtle frequency energy technology added to the product. (In my opinion it also has the nicer flavour of the two products). It is also my opinion that one cannot say comprehensively that one is better than the other, and I would rather let customers make that decision for themselves. For this reason we provide an option to purchase both of them (with a discount included), and where people do that, I normally recommend trying one bottle to the end, then the other one to the end, and see whether you notice any palpable difference in effectiveness. What I can say is that overall, they tremendously help people with almost all aspects of health and wellness. I think think the full benefits typically take 3-6 months of persistent usage (i.e. not taken if you be bothered or simply dabble with it, which never really works). But most people will have an idea as to whether they are helping within a month of proper usage.
What do our customers say?
This is something you can see for yourself….
Reviews from customers who have bought both products at the same time (Unfortunately they are mostly less useful than one might think if you are trying to find out which one is better)
Oxy-Powder and Oxysan (Oxygen for the intestinal tract).
These products are both based on a product first manufactured in 1898. which we were selling in the early days of the company, called Homozon. They are both compounds of magnesium and oxygen in which the magnesium atoms form a loose lattice onto which oxygen is bonded by a catalytic process. They both have a wonderful laxative effect, and when taking them, the stool is always loose and bowel movement regular and, depending on dosage, frequent. Most of our customer take these products for the purpose of easing constipation or when taken in higher dosages, colon cleansing. However, although they are brilliant stand-alone products for accomplishing this, that is not the primary purpose for which Homozon and these later products were developed for. The main benefit of these products is gut oxygenation for health. The “colon cleansing” effect is actually a side benefit, even if that’s the reason you are taking them.
By the way, on the ingredients label, you will see that these products contain magnesium oxide and magnesium hydroxide. These are indeed the “base” ingredients, but in both cases they have been through a proprietary process which causes them to release nascent oxygen in the gut, which can then also be utilised by the body. magnesium oxide and magnesium hydroxide by themselves do not release oxygen, and sadly there are a number of cheaper copycat products on the market which we have tested, which release zero oxygen, no matter what the manufacturers claim.
Which one is better?
As with Oxylift and Oxygen Elements Max, they both have lots of positive reviews, which you can find on the web site, and once again individual preferences vary. (We also sell a third product called Mag 07, designed to the same thing, but Oxysan and Oxy-Powder are proving to be more popular on the whole. However we can tell you Mag 07 is not one of the fake products we were talking about above and also releases nascent oxygen).
Is this all I have to say?
No, as it’s a huge subject. Just to give one example there is the discussion to be had regarding Omega 3 oils, which play the important role of attracting oxygen out of the blood in order to be utilised by the cell. (An entire therapy, developd by a Dr Johanna Budwig emerged based on this principle in the previous century). And there’s much, much more I could say. But hey, this is a newsletter, not a book, so this is where I am going to stop. Read the more detailed info on the products discussed today on the web site if this newsletter peaks your curiosity, and read the customer reviews for a bit of inspiration. And I hope you decide to try them.
Discount code (or put another way, my way of saying thank you for reading to the end).
I spend a lot of time writing actual newsletters – rather than “flog-any-old-tat-letters” (sometimes not even written by an actual person these days), like most of our competitors. Your attention means a lot to me. To show my appreciation to those who read my newsletter to the end, here’s a 10% discount on anything at the Finchley Clinic: just use Oxygen14 at checkout, valid within the next 14 days. This discount also works cumualatively with any volume discounts, which we have on most products.
Wishing you all the best
