đź’” Farewell to Sevenlac
Hello everyone,
* This newsletter isn’t about what Candida Overgrowth Syndrome is, or it’s wider treatment. This is covered in depth in previous articles and blogs. But it is about the loss of one of our top candida management and intestinal support products.
Sometimes a product is discontinued because it simply isn’t very good. Sometimes it’s due to EU or UK regulations — and, let’s be honest, that explanation can sometimes cover for decisions that protect certain financial interests (you probably know who I mean).
But every so often, a truly great product disappears for the wrong reasons — timid marketing, or fear of speaking plainly about its real benefits. In today’s climate, even accurate statements can be flagged as “unauthorised health claims.” While I understand the intent, it often feels like Orwellian doublethink that protects vested interests more than consumers.
Sadly, Sevenlac is the latest casualty — and I’m genuinely heartbroken. It’s one of the most reliable and effective digestive support and anti-Candida probiotics I’ve encountered in my 25 years running The Finchley Clinic. The truth is, the manufacturers have made a great product, marketed it very poorly, and this is the result. The truth is, the manufacturers created a great product but marketed it very poorly — and this is the result. To be fair, the success of its predecessor, Threelac, had a lot to do with the fact that, in its early days, it was simply easier to market (and I’ll leave my comments there). These days, it’s almost impossible for them to say anything! By the time they were effectively silenced, the product already had a loyal fan base — one that, thankfully, still lingers to this day.
I’m not claiming that Sevenlac is the perfect solution for everyone. It would not be honest for anyone to make that claim about any single product (though regrettably a few companies do that regarding products they sell). There are always those who need to use a combination of products to tackle Candida overgrowth, rather than rely on one “Goldilocks” formula. (That’s a topic I’ve covered in plenty of previous newsletters!). But I can say, hand on heart, that Sevenlac is one of those rare products that really delivers — definitely more than just “worth a punt.” (In fairness, so do both Threelac and Fivelac, mentioned below).
👉 We have about 100 boxes left — and that’s it.
I won’t do a long spiel about its benefits here — the results speak for themselves. You can read what other customers have said about it here. For comparison, you might also look at its sister products:
- Threelac – the original formula
- Fivelac – the first upgrade
- Sevenlac – the top of the range upgrade
In all cases, have a look at the reviews if you need a bit of inspiration or reassurance. In my opinion, they speak for themselves.

Note if you get “product not found” I’m afraid it means you were a bit too late, as once I send this newsletter, the whole lot will sell out in a day or two.
Also on sale (and probably to be discontinued):
- Kidslac – 30 sachets(Best Before End 12/2025) – around 20 boxes left at a discounted price. This is kind of like Sevenlac for Children, with various probiotic strains specific for Kids.Â
Best wishes,
