“The most part of the persons of the said craft of surgeons have small cunning yet take great sums of money, and do little. Therefore, and by reason thereof they do oftentimes impair and hurt their patients, rather than do them good.” ~  from The Herbalists Charter of King Henry VIII which has never been officially repealed. (See image above).

“Lockdowns are not saving lives, they’re costing lives. Every respiratory disease … virus epidemic … every one one of them, ends with herd immunity. There is no other way for an epidemic to end. So it’s not an invention — a strategy — it’s just the way nature regulates respiratory disease epidemics.”Knut Wittkowski, Ph.D. – biostatistician and epidemiologist. First, never do harm ~ The Hippocratic Oath

Please keep the above quotations in mind as you continue to read this. Whilst doing that, here are the reported adverse reactions from the “jabs” that you won’t see reported on BBC News, but can be extracted from the Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency, with a little bit of digging about –  https://yellowcard.ukcolumn.org/yellow-card-reports

Here are the equivalent results from the other side of the Atlantic https://www.medalerts.org/vaersdb/findfield.php?TABLE=ON&GROUP1=CAT&EVENTS=ON&VAX=COVID19 which comes from the officially / government appointed organisation  https://vaers.hhs.gov/.

The equivalent results published by the EU of its citizens can be found here and you can view the official EU web site found here here http://www.adrreports.eu/en/index.html

It’s not looking as good at the media claim, is it? Unfortunately, the truth is far, far worse. This organisation were commissioned by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide this report, which stated that only around 1% of these “wonderful” results get reported at all. (See page 6).  Conversely 99% of deaths and injuries from vaccination (any vaccination, I am not specifically talking about Covid-19) are NOT reported.

The “genius” policy of wearing face masks

On July 24th 2020, the geniuses from our government, influenced by the even greater geniuses Professor Chris Witty and Patrick Vallance made us wear rags over our faces in order to make us healthy. Turns out this may cause cancer…https://www.wddty.com/news/disposable-face-masks-contain-cancer-causing-pollutants

I am not a doctor, and I am not a scientist. However I knew this was harmful on July 24th, and I also knew it was a useless and stupid policy that would accomplish nothing. Why didn’t they know this? OK, I exaggerated it didn’t accomplish “nothing”, it actually accomplished plenty. This is what actually happened from and after the date upon which the law required us to all go around wearing bacteria collecting snot rags on our faces.

As I stated above, what a genius policy this is.

When will I shut up about all this?

A few people have written to me to tell me to shut up. Sure, I will shut up when the mass media report what is going on fairly and impartially, and include both sides of the argument. The truth is I HATE having to get involved in politics. All I want is fair, impartial reporting. Then I will go back to doing what I would prefer to be doing, and which would be better for my business

As for my own health….

It is inaccurate to say I am not willing to take part in the experimental vaccination programme. I am fully participating! I have merely decided to be one of those within the experiment who volunteer to be part of the ‘control’ group. In other words, the group that does not undergo an experimental medical procedure that has no long term safety studies. Mind you, even in the short term, based on the official government statistics in the links above, their seems to be plenty of questions to ask, judging from the many unlucky participants in this game of Russian roulette. When the experiment comes to an end at the end of the Phase III trials (January 2023), we’ll start to find out whether me and all my tree hugging naturopath and nutritionist friends do better…or whether the people having experimental chemicals shot into their bloodstreams do better. The real results though may take five or ten years to really be known. It’s never wise to be complacent regarding health, but my personal, non medically qualified and non clairvoyantly trained prediction is that in the long term, we will do better than those who have substances such as “Recombinant, replication-deficient chimpanzee adenovirus vector encoding the SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein, produced in genetically modified human embryonic kidney (HEK) 293 cells” * plunged into their bodies. I also predict that we will do better than people who have the substances called ALC-0315 = (4-hydroxybutyl)azanediyl)bis(hexane-6,1-diyl)bis(2-hexyldecanoate), ALC-0159 = 2[(polyethylene glycol)-2000]-N,N-ditetradecylacetamide, and 1,2-Distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine, inserted into their body’s**. Time will tell who is right and who is wrong, but it if all the same to you, I’ll be sticking with my organic broccoli, carrot juice, vitamin C and so on for now, rather than be experimented on.

** from the information sheet come comes with the Pfizer vaccine for Sars-Covid 2.

Either way…a product that tremendously helps me

I take ahuge number of products for my health. It’s a bit of a pain knowing what I know about health supplements, because once you know their benefits which in some cases are life saving, it’s impossible to unknow them. But the one genre of product I just can’t live without are the Oxygen Colon Cleansers, which I take one of every day. I have a tendency to constipation (even with a good high fibre predominantly vegan diet), so that’s one reason I need them. A second reason is that I just feel more alive when I take them.

Admittedly  you could ask how do I know, since these days, I never don’t take one of them every morning, along with an above label dosage of Oxylift which also seems to tremendously boost my life force energy / vitality / prana / chi / get up and go – whatever you want to call it. (Oxylift has the added benefit of being anti-viral / anti-microbial as is one of the reasons I never get colds or flus any more). The answer to the “how do I know” point, is because I know what happens if I don’t take them, and it happens quickly!

About our colon cleanse products

We provide three very similar products – Mag 07, Oxy-Powder, and Colosan. For no especially rational reason as they all work in virtually the same way in my particular case, I mostly take Oxy-Powder. However I have dabbled with all of them. If you read the reviews, you WILL find people who say “this one worked for me and that one didn’t work for me”, so individual results DO vary. But it’s not possible to say “this one is definitely and always the best one” so there isn’t any point in phoning me up after reading this (although I know from experience that some of you will anyway,), to ask which one is the best one.

For those who have decided to be the part of the experiment that does involve being shot up with these rather strange chemicals, which I fully appreciate is most of the public, a good old colon cleanse is always going to help mitigate the effects of the damage they may do, at least to a limited extent. This is because it’s almost impossible to have a healthy clean body without a healthy and clean colon. I’m not saying it’s going to be the be all and end all. It isn’t. Just a step in the right direction.

As always, be well

The master mineral: what MSM can do for you

The idea of something primarily made of sulphur may sound unlikely to help your body’s health (you’d maybe assume it would do quite the opposite), but don’t be put off. Because methylsulfonylmethane (or, rather, MSM, as it’s better known) may just prove to do your body a good deal of good; especially if consumed in the form of a properly organically-sourced supplement.

A natural sulphur compound that occurs in all living things, MSM is, in actual fact, the fourth most commonly found mineral in the human body. In which case, it plays an important role in the body’s general health and effective functioning. And it’s precisely because of this that boosting your levels of MSM is highly advised and, in the form of a dietary supplement, it’s fast become a popular way to help treat a swathe of various symptoms and conditions.

msm capsules

Indeed, this leads us on to some particularly good news, for – here at The Finchley Clinic – we can announce we’re now overseeing the production of a high-quality, fully organically-sourced MSM supplement on our own terms, which means we can sell it to our customers at a good, competitive price. You’ll find that our Finchley Clinic brand of MSM is still ‘Opti-MSM’ (the type of MSM we previously sold), as it’s manufactured in the same factory as the latter – the brand we reluctantly had to replace as it was no longer competitive enough for us to sell. All told, though, this is a new arrangement that, hopefully, should work out very well for both us and our customers.

So, then, just why is MSM so highly prized by the human body – what can it do…?

Positively affects joint health; reduces joint pain

Joint degeneration, which often causes pain in different areas of the body (knees, hips, hands and the back) can also limit mobility and movement. According to the results of different studies, MSM appears to help reduce cartilage breakdown (cartilage being a flexible tissue that protects bones in joints), while it could also reduce swelling and stiffness in joints and the pain associated with that.

Possesses anti-inflammatory properties

It’s MSM’s ability to act as both a chemical inhibitor and enabler that means it’s effective in the anti-inflammatory stakes. First off, it appears that it can inhibit the protein complex NF-kB, which otherwise would aid inflammatory responses in the body, while also help inhibit production of specific cytokines linked to systemic inflammation. Secondly, MSM can help boost glutathione levels in the body – glutathione is a powerful antioxidant – and help reduce arthritis-related symptoms (arthritis being an inflammatory condition that affects the body’s joints), such as pain and stiffness, and thereby aiding physical function and mobility.

May increase immunity

There are strong signs that MSM, in combination with improved sleep, physical exercise, diet and all-round healthier living, may be able to strengthen the body’s immune system and its work in the face of potential illness. To start with, given that MSM is primarily made up of sulphur, it can naturally contribute to improving the immune system and immunity.

An example being that, thanks to its antioxidant properties, MSM may be able to reduce oxidative stress – and, therefore, inflammation and reduced immunity, too – by helping rid the body of inflammation-causing compounds including IL-6 and TNF-ɑ.

Moreover, MSM’s aforementioned ability to bolster glutathione levels comes into play here, because the higher the levels of glutathione in the body, the better overall health and immune system function tends to be.

Could boost hair and skin health

Ever wondered why, when hair burns, it gives off such a unique smell? That aroma is sulphurous in nature and occurs because keratin – the key structural component of human hair – is a protein that’s particularly rich in the amino acid cysteine, which is packed full of sulphur. And, yes, it’s that sulphur commonality that ensures MSM may improve the health of your hair; essentially because it’s capable of behaving as a sulphur donor to keratin.

Additionally, owing to its anti-inflammatory capabilities (see above), it’s also believed that MSM may aid in repairing damaged skin cells and, thus, preventing the forming of premature skin-aging (i.e. wrinkles) and perhaps combat skin conditions like rosacea, which can lead to redness, irritation and inflammation of human skin.

Whichever way you slice it, then, whether it’s due to its anti-inflammatory properties, antioxidant abilities or natural sulphuric content (or, indeed, all three combined), MSM may prove very beneficial for maintaining or boosting the health and effectiveness of many parts of your body. It’s for these reasons we definitely recommend you giving our new version of it a try – and see yourself what good it may do you!

Fact checker ways to be healthy vs. natural health

Here are two ways of being healthy

The first approach, favoured by Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, none of whom would dream of censoring anyone who expresses an opinion that doesn’t follow their (vested interest supported) narrative.  It’s been verified by their completely impartial and highly qualified fact checkers, so you can rely on its accuracy….

Here is another approach, which naturopaths and nutritionists would say is more likely to be successful in the longer run, but the genius “fact checkers” may not approve of as much.

1. Get lots of fresh air, sunlight and exercise.

2. Flood Your Body With Oxygen

Here you could consider something like Oxygen Elements Max or Oxylift. Here are some recent reviews from customers who purchased Oxygen Elements Max, which customers have been kind enough to leave us (edited in a few places to remove the names of specific diseases, in order to comply with health regulations).

★★★★★  Sally D – Tuesday 27 April 2021

I take the maintenance dose daily for immunity but also find it helpful to take a higher dose when I have any health issues. I usually feel a benefit. It helps me to sleep as well.

★★★★★ Daisy D – Friday 2 April 2021

I love this product and have reordered it several times. I first took it when I was 9 weeks into a bad bout of ***** ** last Spring and seemingly unable to make much progress getting better. I took 10 or so drops at a time twice a day and had a very pronounced upcurve in my recovery immediately. I’ve used it on and off (mostly on) though this whole year (just one set of 10 drops in the morning) and if I feel any kind of illness coming on I up my dose and it appears to ward it off really quickly. I love it and am so happy with the difference it made in my recovery

★★★★★ Helen L – Wednesday 31 March 2021

I started taking just a couple of drops of oxygen elements max per day & gradually built up to 7 drops per day which is less than the recommended dose but I noticed an increase in my energy levels after about a week. I had been feeling fatigued but I rarely feel like this now. It is expensive but,for me, it’s worth it.

★★★★★ Gloria B – Wednesday 3 February 2021

Took as per directions 7 drops 3 times a day. Increased when I was feeling a bit chesty to 10 drops . Felt better next day went back to maintenance dose. Great product for me.

★★★★★ Beatrice O – Saturday 30 January 2021

I bought the duo – Oxygen Elements Max and Oxylift several times in the last 6 weeks as I kept giving them out to friends who were ill. I’ve recommended the products to several people. They are both good. I take 7 -10 drops in water daily. If I sense cold/flu coming, I take it 2- 3 times (increase it to 30 drops) and I’ve also added lemon in order to boost my immunity. For me, this is a ‘must-have’ particularly at the current time.

★★★★★ Hilary M – Monday 21 December 2020

This stuff is brilliant..really helps whenever I feel an infection coming on.

★★★★★ Anya L – Monday 14 December 2020

Thought I’d give this a try as the reviews were so good and I wasn’t disappointed. I only take it twice a day, 7 drops in a glass of water. I would say I seem to have more energy throughout the day, there’s a noticeable difference.

★★★★★ Susan N – Wednesday 14 October 2020

I would not be without an oxygen supplement! I have used a liquid oxygen for many years. I changed from Oxylift to oxygen elements max because of the fulvic acid and just to see if there was a difference. I’m not sure I noticed a difference. I tend to take just one dose of about 15 drops each morning and think I’ll take more later but rarely remember! When I first started taking oxygen my hair colour returned (grey went away!) so I presumed lots of other good things must be happening!!

★★★★★ Helen V – Friday 24 July 2020

I have had remarkable results with this alongside MSM 1000g capsules. These drops 3 x a day and 3 MSM capsules taken with a vitamin C supplement. I’m an asthma COPD sufferer and this seems to oxygenate my body as well which gives me much more energy. As far as I’m concerned it’s a product for life. Amazing

I would not wish Oxygen Elements Max to be outdone by its competitor and very similar product, Oxylift. So here are some recent customer comments on this product.

★★★★★ JANE G – Thursday 18 February 2021

I’ve tried both Oxygen products now, but prefer this to the other. Really difficult to justify why, just a preference really. Both have proved excellent for kicking colds into touch. I don’t take this on a regular basis, but at the first sign of a cold I go for it. Even my husband swears by it – and he’s not easily convinced about such things. It’s a product I will always keep handy – works for us.

★★★★★ Gloria B – Wednesday 3 February 2021

Took as per directions 7 drops 3 times a day. Increased when I was feeling a bit chesty to 10 drops . Felt better next day went back to maintenance dose. Great product for me.

★★★★★ Fiona C – Thursday 14 January 2021

I am a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist and Colon Hydrotherapist. I have a very sensitive system which responds fast and it is always very evident within a day whether a product suits me. I decided to try Oxylift as a protective mechanism, alongside other immune boosting products, to fight against *****. I have taken 1 drop daily in half a glass of water for two weeks and have noticed increased energy and clearer breathing. What I have noticed in addition is that Oxylift is causing me to urinate more frequently with almost a slight pressure on the bladder. I am hoping that this symptom will ease with time as I can see that this product is an important part of my anti-***** toolkit. On one occasion I took two drops in a day and this caused my face to flush and my sleep pattern was disrupted, so I will hold back on increasing the dosage. I am 65 and as I have not taken any medication (only homeopathy and nutritional supplements) since I was 18, I always take a quarter of a suggested dose of any product. In my view, those who treat themselves alternatively will know their body and take the appropriate dosage of Oxylift. I will be recommending it to my clients.

★★★★★ Grace C – Tuesday 5 January 2021

This is a must have for me. A great immune boost. Clears any ‘murkiness’ you may feel and blasts the cells with energy. My head feels clearer, ready to start the day!

★★★★★ Susan R – Tuesday 1 December 2020

I started a low dose of 3 drops per day of Oxylift, as I have an autoimmune disorder and am very cautious when trying new products. I am now taking 10 drops daily in water. I spread the dose through the day. My concern was swollen feet and fingers. I had previously taken another brand of capsules, with some of the same ingredients as Oxylift, with some effect. Results from Oxylift have bee very good with a marked reduction in swelling and puffiness. It is easy to take and , for me, very effective. The price is competitive and ordering/delivery easy.

Needless to say, I will be ordering more and have already recommended it to 2 friends. Thank you Finchley Clinic.

★★★★★ Boaz S – Friday 13 November 2020

One of the best cellfood type products out there. I used it for a few years, helping me a lot with to reduce my inhaler almost to not needed at all. Recommended.

★★★★★ Sally D – Thursday 24 September 2020

I have only been taking oxylift for a few weeks mainly to help immunity so results are hoped for but unknown. So far taking 3 drops twice a day and sometimes during the night of as I’ve noticed it alleviates symptoms of liver qi stagnation (Chinese medicine) and I can then relax and go back to sleep. It has an almost immediate effect on deepening my breathing. Very interesting. Thankyou Ed McCabe.

★★★★★ Lyndon D – Monday 17 August 2020

OxyLift is a great product. It gives extra energy to the system. I would recommend it.

Hayfever relief

As well their effect on controlling viruses and bacteria, it’s worth noting that the liquid oxygen products provide wonderful relief for hay fever at this time of the year for a lot of sufferers.

Oxygen Elements Max or Oxylift….Which one is better?

I can’t answer this question and they are similar to one another, but I have done my best to explain the differences here, where we also give people the chance to purchase both, with a discount, and let people decide for themselves. Please note, that if taking Vitamin C (in supplemental quantities, don’t worry about the amount in a fruit salad), please take it two hours or more away from either of these products for optimal benefits.

3. Maintain optimal levels of Vitamin D

I’ve written several times in the last year about the overwhelming benefits for general health, and viral protection that is offered to everyone by taking Vitamin D (in sufficient dosages – the 400iu being given by our glorious government for free to the elderly to “protect” them is completely USELESS where it comes to immune system support). We provide a few good ones, but the best seller is Vitamin D3 5,000iu with Vitamin K2, and this is the one I personally take. Here again are some recent customer comments on the product

★★★★★ Caroline S – Sunday 2 May 2021

I’ve been buying this vitamin d3 K2 supplement for 18 months now, the whole family use it even my youngest and we’ve gotten through two winter seasons with no flu or nasty viruses which is impressive as one of my kids is at school and tend to bring home everything! I even got my dad using it as he was really poorly, then a few weeks later he had blood tests results to say that in fact he had a serious vitamin d deficiency. (How many others have this deficiency now?) Surprisingly, the strength of vitamin d they prescribed him after was the same as this one! (5000) but the one they gave doesn’t have the vitamin k2 for the maximum absorption of vit d (especially needed for adults over 60) So this product still a winner and probably required all year round now as with all the mask wearing we’re getting even less sunlight. Reply from The Finchley Clinic re “the one they gave doesn’t have the vitamin k2 for the maximum absorption of vit d”. This is not the primary reason why it is important to take D3 with K2. The primary reason is to do with the appropriate deposition of calcium in the right tissues, after taking Vitamin D3. There are also lesser reasons, but this is the main one.

★★★★★ John B – Thursday 22 April 2021

This is a good combination of D3 with K2 and much better priced than buying each product separately. I take 1 tablet/day in summer when getting some sun and 2 tablets in winter. The combination with K2 ensures then any calcium freed up by the D3 is guided into the bones. My heart valves were getting blocked and to the complete surprise of my cardiologist they were completely freed up with this D3 K2 combination

★★★★★ Deborah B – Tuesday 6 April 2021

This is a great product! My partner has been taking it for a few weeks now, and already noticing a big difference in how he feels. He doesn’t normally like to take tablets as he sometimes has issues swallowing them, but these are no problem. Thank you for stocking such excellent products.

★★★★★ James H – Friday 2 April 2021

I have been using this for some time . My mum now uses as well , It is pleasant to take and effective. My mums Gp told her she didn’t need Vitamin D -just eat a balanced diet. I have had here taking for 2 years. The Gp has now changed his tune due to *****. better late than never . I would not be without. This formulation is excellent and benefits from K2 . It is not the cheapest- but trust me -you get what you pay for.

★★★★★ Lyndy B – Thursday 25 March 2021

A great product, offering the optimum Vitamin D protection in easy to take chewable form. I’ve even persuaded my 18 year old to take them! Recommended.

★★★★★ Michael M – Wednesday 3 March 2021

As the concept of using vitamin D in the Northern hemisphere is sound in the winter months, I started off taking 2x5000iu tablets for one week to build up my bodily count, then dropped down to one x 5000iu daily. This was started in March 2020. I have not been even been bothered with a cold since. The science about vitamin D recommends maintaining above 4000iu in your system to combat ***** viruses.

★★★★★ Saddat A – Sunday 28 February 2021

Tastes great and children love it. Just ordered again as it’s a superb product.

★★★★★ CHRISTINE B – Thursday 4 February 2021

I have only been taking these Vitamins for a few weeks and they have made a great difference. Many thanks.

★★★★★ Giulietta C – Friday 29 January 2021

Having decided to take the general advice about ***** and the benefits of vitamin D3, I followed the advice on your website about this particular product which includes 90mg Vitamin K2. I knew nothing about this vitamin but assumed it played a positive role in absorbing D3. To my astonishment, within about 2 days, possibly 3, I felt the effects. I am guessing I was lacking in both ( despite living in the sunny climate of the south of France!) for it to have had such an impact! Maybe it was the vitamin K2? I can’t speak for whether it will protect me from ***** as happily I haven’t been touched by it as yet, but after 10 years of steady hair loss, I have almost over night seen my hair not only stop falling out, but full of shine and bounce! Everyone is commenting so I am not imagining it. In fact I just look very well on it all round! I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to stay in good health, especially women with hair loss problems, with the benefit of hopefully protecting oneself from the threat of ***** related symptoms. Sort of a win win situation. I will be buying it again.

★★★★★ Sharon C – Wednesday 20 January 2021

I have a history of low vit D for at least 10 years. I have previously been on Cholecalciferol which was prescribed by the GP. My gp stopped the prescription in 2015 when the levels were raised to 81. However, in 2018 it dropped back to 34. Last year when my levels were 74 i bought this product to raise my levels and support me over the winter. I am nearly finished my first bottle and stopped taking it for 4 days before my blood test. My results are back and my VIT D is 121 which is the highest it has ever been. I will definitely continue with this product as it helping me to obtain a health Vit D level over the winter months.

★★★★★ Sharon J – Wednesday 25 November 2020

I have been taking Vitamin D3 5000iu with Vitamin K2 for over a month and about to re-order. I feel better after taking these tablets and am aware that they have been mentioned in several reviews as a good supplement to take to help the body’s immune system during the current ***** crisis. I have been using the Finchley Clinic for years and have been impressed with the service they provide and information given when I have asked about any particular product. Mark gives a straight forward point of view based on evidence and years of experience and has an extensive knowledge of the latest research.

4. Take herbal anti virals and immune builders.

There are many choices here. Although they don’t have fancy and pretty labels as they are our own ‘artisan’ products, and not especially big sellers (because customers don’t realise how good they are) two of my favourites are Galangal Formula (anti-viral) consisting of Galangal, Oregano, Guarana, Korean ginseng, Thyme, Maca, Cayenne, and Lemon balm. and Camu Formula (immune rejuvenation) consisting of Korean ginseng, Wheatgrass, Ginger, Brazilian ginseng, Licorice, Elderberry, Thyme, and Camu. Two of the herbs you’ll notice are found in both formulations.

Another product I really like, and don’t give enough attention to telling people about is Olive Leaf Extract

So…from the highly recommended book “Olive Leaf Extract….Potent Antibacterial, Antiviral, Antifungal Agent” by Jack Richardson. ISBN 1 86512 095 5.

The following is a summarised list of this potent botanical’s apparent health benefits:

  • Effective inhibition and prevention of infection by wide range of pathological microbes, including viruses, bacteria, retroviruses, fungi, parasites, yeasts, and moulds.
  • The enhancement of elasticity of arteries, which improves blood flow, reduces high blood pressure, and prevents the progression of other forms of heart disease.
  • The relief of inflammation related to arthritis, especially rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Improvement in symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome and related disorders.
  • Ability to fight free radical production.
  • Prevention and treatment of many types of viral infections, including the herpes viruses, most influenza and common cold viruses, Epstein-Barr viruses, the HIV virus, the cytomegalovirus, and others.
  • Eradication of candidiasis and associated yeast syndromes.
  • Effective eradication of a variety of parasites, from microscopic protozoa to intestinal worms.
  • Enhancement of energy production in the body.
  • Relief from toothaches, painful haemorrhoids, athlete’s foot, mycotic nails, and various other annoying conditions.

There is a lot more to learn in the book about the various problems it is said to help (such as chronic fatigue). But amongst other things, it states that olive leaf extract “has been shown to be effective against candida albicans, candida krusei, oral candidiasis, vaginitis (thush) yeast syndrome, giardia, pinwroms, tapeworms, ringworm, protozoa and many others. Besides the clinic research that demonstrates that olive leaf extract is effective against fungal and yeast infections, there is a wealth of data from personal case histories of individuals using it for similar purposes”.

There are a lot of Olive Leaf Extract products out there, with varying qualities. But trust us, our one is the best one you will find. As one customer kindly wrote…”A truly brilliant product. I was so ill with what the doctors concluded was Fibromyalgia, that I was struggling to function and work. I read the book by Morton Walker, and at the time you were one of the few companies that stocked the product and it was life changing. I have tried other brands when you have been out of stock, but I found them to be ineffective in comparison. My mother has also taken it on my strong recommendation for the past 5 years.  She is 82, fit as a fiddle and as active as someone half her age.”

That’s it for now. so until next time, may the force be with you

Diet, sleep, exercise and supplements: how to boost your immunity

So, it’s winter again. From a health perspective, that means more infections and seasonal bugs to dodge and deal with – all the more reason then, to try to boost your immunity. However, before we start properly on the importance of immunity, it’s important to note that upping their immunity levels won’t prevent anyone from catching the Covid-19 coronavirus and developing symptoms and, just as significantly, passing it on to other people and helping to spread the virus.

That said, as we’ve now entered winter here in the Northern Hemisphere, when so many ‘ordinary’ colds, viruses and bugs tend to enjoy a free rein, it’s more than a good idea to try to boost your body’s natural immunity. Who wouldn’t want to protect their body from nasty, harmful pathogens and potential disease-causing organisms and help their bodies combat them and prevent their symptoms?

So, how might you best improve your immunity…?

Improve your sleep hygiene

There’s a close relationship between good sleep hygiene (sleeping well) and immunity – conversely, poor sleep is more likely to help lead to sickness, while people may naturally sleep longer when they’re unwell to aid their immune systems in their capacity to battle illnesses. On average, adults are advised to seek seven hours or more of sleep a night, teenagers between eight and 10 and young children/ infants up to 14 hours.

Add fruits, vegetables and healthy fats to your diet

There are few better ways to boost your immunity, in the long run, than to improve your nutrition. Seeking out foods packed full of excellent nutrients like fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds are key here, given their antioxidants, especially, are great at reducing inflammation throughout the body by ridding the gut microbiome of harmful free radicals (‘bad bacteria’) that actively strip the immune system of its natural efficacy.

Meanwhile, getting more olive oil and oily fish into your diet is good for all the healthy fats they contain; they’re great for reducing pathogen-caused chronic inflammation and boosting immunity. For this reason, it’s believed olive oil can help reduce the risk of developing heart disease and type-2 diabetes, as well as aid the body in combating viruses and disease-causing bacteria.

Reduce sugars and saturate fats

Consuming too many refined carbs and, therefore, added sugars and saturate fats can, of course, result in someone eventually becoming overweight and developing obesity. Evidence suggests that obese people may suffer from compromised immunity (a study found that its obese subjects were twice as likely to develop flu symptoms after receiving a flu vaccine than none-obese subjects who’d received the same flu jab), no doubt due to excessive sugar-intake increasing inflammation in the body and, thereby, increasing the risk of chronic conditions like type-2 diabetes.

Get some exercise

There’s no need to overdo it (indeed, prolonged exercise can actually suppress an immune system), but sensible, adequate exercise is great for increasing the body’s immunity, contributing to inflammation reduction and natural cell regeneration. What sort of moderate exercise are we talking here? The likes of which will get your heart rate up (but not set it racing uncontrollably) so, a brisk walk or a light hike, cycling, jogging, swimming – for, on average, about 20 minutes a day.

Go the supplement route

Finally, an excellent alternative to boost your immunity is to turn to naturally-derived, well-reviewed supplements. Thanks, in part, to their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant qualities, probiotics can prove a good supplement type to turn to (by all means take a look at our Probiotics section, here).

plant based immune boost

However, there are many immunity-improving supplements to be found if you do a bit of research. For instance, a terrific, brand-new-on-the-market example is Global Healing’s Plant-based Immune Boost, available from us, here, at The Finchley Clinic. Boasting a carefully blended mix of ingredients (organic herbs, trace minerals, plant essences, mushrooms and aromatics), it’s designed to help increase the immune system so it can maintain your health all-year-round – especially during the winter months. All that, and it tastes terrific, too!

Can Doctors Question The Wisdom Of Vaccination?

I hesitated to send this newsletter, as it would be far better for the business for me to be writing newsletters about our latest products, providing special offers, discussing which nutrients may help with certain health conditions and so on. But I have a few words to say if I may…

Next time you are in your doctor’s office and you say, “I’m worried about the safety of vaccination,” and you are told, “You don’t understand, you’re not a doctor…” remember that, if you are a doctor and say, “I’m worried about the safety of vaccination,” you will be told, “We’re charging you with serious professional misconduct…”

Dr. Jayne L. M. Donegan, MBBS, DRCOG, DFFP, DCH, MRCGP, MFHom – 13 June 2013, London, UK

Dr Donegan’s story is described in the brilliant and highly recommended book “Dissolving Illusions”, written by Dr Suzanne Humphries MD and Roman Bystrianyk. Her story appears not to be untypical, having heard similar stories time and time again in the quarter century that I have been involved in the natural health world. In her case she was eventually exonerated on all counts of “professional misconduct” for the “crime” of questioning the benefits of vaccination.

Dr. Arie Avni

Dr Avni is an Israeli doctor (specialising as a gastroenterologist) who does not agree with lockdowns or vaccination. Quoting from his biography, “During his work in the hospital but also in his private life, Dr. Avni was exposed to the dismal results of conventional cancer treatments, he lost his wife and sister. The difficult events made him think that allopathic medicine is not the only option.”

Anyway, Dr Avni decided to form a political party (in English, the ‘healing party’) opposing the draconian lockdown and the mandatory ‘in all but name’ vaccination policy of the Israeli government. His reward for expressing his medical opinion, was that he had his medical licence revoked by the Israeli equivalent of the General Medical Council. He was then in essence censored by all news outlets, and all social media. This seems to be the state of free speech not just in Israel, but virtually everywhere where it comes to discussing vaccination, lockdowns, and wearing useless snotty rags over your face, as though that’s going to miraculously make you healthy, when the history of what occurred after July 24th in the UK when it became mandatory to wear masks proves that it’s a useless, stupid and probably harmful policy*. It’s not that you don’t have free speech at all. It’s more that if your speech does not conform to a certain narrative, the establishment will ensure nobody will hear your speech, which is almost the same thing as not having free speech to begin with. Not surprisingly, after being denied any engagement, debate or publicity the ‘healing party’ did abysmally in the Israeli general election last week.

Bringing us up to date, the following letter to the editor was published on April 2nd in the British Medical Journal here https://www.bmj.com/content/372/bmj.n810/rapid-responses

Re: Do doctors have to have the COVID-19 vaccine?

Dear Editor

I have had more vaccines in my life than most people and come from a place of significant personal and professional experience in relation to this pandemic, having managed a service during the first 2 waves and all the contingencies that go with that.

Nevertheless, what I am currently struggling with is the failure to report the reality of the morbidity caused by our current vaccination program within the health service and staff population. The levels of sickness after vaccination is unprecedented and staff are getting very sick and some with neurological symptoms which is having a huge impact on the health service function. Even the young and healthy are off for days, some for weeks, and some requiring medical treatment. Whole teams are being taken out as they went to get vaccinated together.

Mandatory vaccination in this instance is stupid, unethical and irresponsible when it comes to protecting our staff and public health. We are in the voluntary phase of vaccination, and encouraging staff to take an unlicensed product that is impacting on their immediate health, and I have direct experience of staff contracting Covid AFTER vaccination and probably transmitting it. In fact, it is clearly stated that these vaccine products do not offer immunity or stop transmission. In which case why are we doing it? There is no longitudinal safety data (a couple of months of trial data at best) available and these products are only under emergency licensing. What is to say that there are no longitudinal adverse effects that we may face that may put the entire health sector at risk?

Flu is a massive annual killer, it inundates the health system, it kills young people, the old the comorbid, and yet people can choose whether or not they have that vaccine (which had been around for a long time). And you can list a whole number of other examples of vaccines that are not mandatory and yet they protect against diseases of higher consequence.

Coercion and mandating medical treatments on our staff, of members of the public especially when treatments are still in the experimental phase, are firmly in the realms of a totalitarian Nazi dystopia and fall far outside of our ethical values as the guardians of health.

I and my entire family have had COVID. This as well as most of my friends, relatives and colleagues. I have recently lost a relatively young family member with comorbidities to heart failure, resulting from the pneumonia caused by Covid. Despite this, I would never debase myself and agree, that we should abandon our liberal principles and the international stance on bodily sovereignty, free informed choice and human rights and support unprecedented coercion of professionals, patients and people to have experimental treatments with limited safety data. This and the policies that go with this are more of a danger to our society than anything else we have faced over the last year.

What has happened to “my body my choice?” What has happened to scientific and open debate? If I don’t prescribe an antibiotic to a patient who doesn’t need it as they are healthy, am I anti-antibiotics? Or an antibiotic-denier? Is it not time that people truly thought about what is happening to us and where all of this is taking us?

K Polyakova, Consultant, London

Competing interests: No competing interests

I don’t know this lady, though I loved the way she expressed her opinion, so I looked her up. In short, Dr Polyakova’s Linked-In profile states that she qualified as a doctor in 2004, and is now the Medical Director of a Hospital in Kent. How long she will last in the profession, having dared to express an even mildly alternative opinion, remains to be seen.

Regarding her point about coercion, it is my view that vaccination passports in any way, shape or form, are an obvious form of coercion attempting to force the unwilling to consent to a medical procedure (in this case an experimental one until 2023), against their will, and it is a disgrace. It will not be forgotten by me when it comes to the next ballot box.

Just to put the record straight…

In terms of the latest “wonder vaccines” they have “emergency approval” which is not the same thing as “approval”. The Phase III trials for them end in 2023. Therefore anyone who has this intervention plunged into their bloodstream is by definition part of an experiment. I hope to God that the experiment does not lead to catastrophe in a year or two, quite aside from the immediate harmful effects that I am already hearing regularly from customers calling for advice at the moment.

Informed consent

Personally I do not believe that anyone is providing informed consent. They contains substances which include some stuff called 4-hydroxybutyl)azanediyl)bis(hexane-6,1-diyl)bis(2-hexyldecanoate, and 2[(polyethylene glycol)-2000]-N,N-ditetradecylacetamide. That’s just two of the ingredients of one vaccine. Just two examples. Do you know what on earth this is? If you do not know what it is, then in what way is your consent “informed”?

Dr Mike Yeadon

Dr Yeadon is the former CSO and VP, Allergy and Respiratory Research Head with Pfizer Global R&D and co-Founder of Ziarco Pharma Ltd. Since COVID-19 is a respiratory illness, and he was the head of respiratory research of one of the manufacturers of the various vaccines, I think it’s fair to say he is an authority figure. Here he talks about his grave concerns about the Coronavirus jab.

https://rumble.com/vf8fz5-dr-mike-yeadon.html

If you are looking for frivolous 30 second sound bites, it’s probably not for you, and maybe better you watch an episode of Eastenders instead, If you think your long-term health is important, then I think you will find it interesting. And if I’m wrong and you don’t find it interesting, my apologies for wasting your time.

What is herd immunity?

Below is a recent example of a desperate, blatantly dishonest, and unethical measure that the World Health Organization, funded as they are largely by various ‘special interest groups’, in other words the vaccine manufacturers (and Bill Gates), in order to coerce people into being experimented on.

Personally, I think changing a medical definition of anything, for political / financial rather than health reasons is an international disgrace. Don’t bother emailing me if you disagree, as I won’t be interested, and I won’t change my mind.

Is there any point in being vaccinated if you have already had the disease?

Several PRO-VACCINE doctors and biomedical scientists, virologists etc that I have been listening to have been stating that they think that having a vaccine to protect you from a disease which you have already had is potentially so discombobulating to the immune system, that  it may cause a complete disaster to the body. My heart sank when our Prime Minister publicly had a vaccination to protect him from a disease he has already had, as no matter what I may think of him or his governments policies, I take no pleasure in seeing the man as far as I am concerned, take an enormous risk with his body, by having a medical procedure which in his case he is incredibly likely to need even if you do believe in vaccination being some sort of silver bullet.

Meanwhile in news from the other side of the pond (sorry this bit is already a month out of date – that’s because I have been sitting on this newsletter for nearly a month debating whether or not to send it).

  • Mid-March 2021, Moderna started testing its mRNA COVID-19 vaccine on children between the ages of 6 months and 11 years
  • As of March 5, 2021, the U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) had received 31,079 adverse reaction reports for COVID-19 vaccines, including 1,551 deaths
  • Using March 5 VAERS statistics, assuming all deaths have been reported as required, the lethality rate of COVID-19 vaccines is 0.0028%
  • CDC statistics puts the death rate following COVID mRNA vaccination at 0.0024% — significantly higher than that following influenza vaccination at 0.0000265%
  • There are compelling reasons to suspect these vaccines may contribute to death further down the line, perhaps months or a few years into the future. Those ending up with permanent disability as a result of these vaccines will be at increased risk of early death, and there’s no telling how these vaccines might impact the longevity of children

The above text taken from an article written by Dr Joeseph Mercola and the full article is found on his web site here https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2021/03/23/covid-19-vaccine-testing-on-children.aspx

Sorry to be blunt and not terribly politically correct but…

If your view is that vaccines are going to save your life, and once you’ve had a vaccination for this or that illness, you can go back to being couch potato, who doesn’t get any fresh air, eats junk, drinks too much alcohol, has multiple nutrient deficiencies (especially Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Selenium and Zinc), live with an unhealthy level of stress, and expect everything is going to be OK, I think you’re going to be in for a nasty surprise. I have a similar view regarding the possibility that wearing cotton rags across your airways is going to somehow make you healthy. This is not the path to wellness.  It is the path to catastrophe.

Be well, and take your vitamins! Next time I am going to write about something that I would much rather be writing about than vaccination.

Vitamin c and infectious disease

“We’re dealing with doctors who value their way of doing things more than their patients lives. I’m not saying all of them, but they ain’t angels. I consider there to be more politics in medicine than there is in politics, which is as sad a statement as I could possibly make” ~ Dr Thomas Levy, cardiologist, in a lecture on the benefits of Vitamin C.

Coincidentally, I was in my local health food shop over the weekend, and a lady came over to stroke a friend’s dog who I am looking after for a few days. We got chatting and she told me she was a surgeon who had been in a three year battle with the GMC (General Medical Council) and eventually decided to stop practicing as a doctor, as they made her life impossible. She then went on to talk about how much corruption there was in medicine. I won’t go into all the details of our conversation here, but what I do want to mention is that she then said almost the same precise words as Dr Levy, quoted above in relation to politics in medicine. She then went on to describe how many doctors privately disagreed with the “accepted” mainstream medical model in all sorts of areas, but were unwilling to sacrifice their careers for their principles and beliefs or their reservations about the guidelines and schedules they are required to follow. It’s a brave thing for any doctor to give up their reputation, career and livelihood after so many years training, to follow their true beliefs on health, and perhaps it’s not my place to judge those that keep their real opinions to themselves. I know the doctor I met is not alone because several such doctors (most of them are customers who read my newsletters) have written to me privately over the last 12 months telling me their real opinions, which if expressed publicly would cause them to lose their jobs. The lady I met was one of those who was not willing to “keep shtoom”. Dr Levy, who I am now coming to, is another one of those brave doctors. Fortunately he did not stop practising medicine, but as I understand it, he has changed direction.

Vitamin C and Infectious Diseases

There are quite a few massive health stories out there, which the media isn’t telling you – well at least not the mainstream media. Why not? Well, I am not going down that rabbit hole today. I’ve covered that one before. Today I am talking about the real story of Vitamin C.

It must be about 15 years since I read the book Curing the Incurable: Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins by Dr Thomas Levy, the doctor referred to above, which simply blew me away. Here was a book, nearly five hundred pages, meticulously citing hundreds upon hundreds of papers of published medical literature on how vitamin C is, as Dr Levy put it, “an absolute anti-viral” and is in fact incredibly beneficial for helping with all forms of microbial infection. The dosages needed may be high. Six grams daily is probably a realistic starting point when taking it orally for serious or acute infection. One to three grams a day is a nice robust dosage for general health and illness prevention. And it may be necessary to bring out the big guns, and use direct IV (intravenous) vitamin C, which we provide at my sister company Health Fusion Clinic

In addition to what he sets out in relation to the treatment of infectious disease, Dr Levy cites all the proof you need for Vitamin C’s role as a vital detoxifying agent, it’s role in reducing heavy metal toxicity in the body, its role in treating and preventing inflammation and numerous other determinants of health.

And what has mainstream medicine done about this, despite irrefutable medical proof? In general, virtually nothing. This is occurring primarily because Vitamin C doesn’t make the vested interests that control the medical profession their sickening multi billion pound profits. If there was a big enough profit in it, you can bet your bottom dollar, things would be very, very different.

Regarding the truth about vitamin C and infectious disease, I’m weary of repeating myself so this time I am going to let YouTube do the talking. I am sure many of you are aware that YouTube, owned by Google, ruthlessly censors almost anything that conflicts with the mainstream narrative on health, or punishes the publisher by putting certain videos so long on their algorithm that they are close to impossible to find. But where it comes to Vitamin C, one video that so far has survived, is the one entitled “Dr. Thomas E. Levy – Vitamin C The Ultimate Antibiotic“. It’s quite brilliant! It would have been better if it would have been named more accurately  Vitamin C The Ultimate Antimicrobial” rather than “antibiotic” since he actually talks more about viruses than bacteria, but you get the jist from the name anyway. In my view, watching this video can save lives, starting with your own! I have little more to endorse it than to say that. Or better still, buy the book mentioned above. We don’t sell it, but you can pick it up quite easily.

Dr Levy is particularly into Liposomal Vitamin C, which has become very popular in recent years, due to its superior absorption over traditional vitamin C products. But for those on a budget, any form of vitamin C is far better than nothing. There is a full list of Vitamin C products we provide here.

Why am I sending this newsletter?

When I finished my last newsletter, I swore this was going to be my last newsletter for a while on viral illness etc. If you don’t know by now what my thoughts are, you will never will. But Dr Levy expresses himself so eloquently that I decided everyone should be offered the chance to listen to what he has to say. Listen to him….he may save your life!

On a separate note….

Petition: Do not rollout COVID-19 vaccine passports

“We want the Government to commit to not rolling out any e-vaccination status/immunity passport to the British public. Such passports could be used to restrict the rights of people who have refused a COVID-19 vaccine, which would be unacceptable.”

If you agree with me that people should be free of coercion in order to be permitted to travel, I recommend following the link to sign the above petition. I am of course aware of the fact that foreign countries may impose their own rules when entering their countries, and there is little we can do to prevent this. But personally, I am opposed to making people subject themselves to a new / experimental medical procedure (or now that I think about it, any medical procedure, new or otherwise) against their will in order to be allowed to travel. It’s unethical, and it clearly breaches UNESCO guidelines and the Nuremberg code on forced medical procedures. Well that’s my view anyway, doubtless there will be others who do not agree, and we will probably get one or two aggressive and abusive emails after this newsletter from people who believe anyone who disagrees with themselves should be censored / no-platformed, vilified and the like.

With best wishes

The mother of all antioxidants? Why glutathione IS so good for you

Have you heard of glutathione? Generated in the body’s cells, it’s a naturally occurring, effective antioxidant. Yet, as a statement, that’s hardly doing it justice – because glutathione is so impressive it’s sometimes referred to by those in the know as ‘the mother of all antioxidants’.

Largely composed of three different amino acids (glutamine, cysteine and glycine), glutathione is such a useful antioxidant that, frankly, if its levels in the body are reduced, which unfortunately does happen, it’s advisable to take steps to try and boost them.

Why might your body’s glutathione count decrease? Well factors like stress, environmental toxins and nutritional habits can all take their toll – as can age, inevitably. Upping one’s glutathione levels, then, can take various forms; intravenously, topically or (surely most easily and most popular) orally, via a high-quality, organically-sourced glutathione supplement. The latter option is the one we suggest you opt for.

More on that shortly, though, because it’s important to understand just why glutathione is so important for us – thanks to its outstanding antioxidant properties…

Why glutathione’s so important

As you may expect, glutathione’s excellent antioxidant capacity aids the body in a number of different areas:

  • Reduces oxidative stress – oxidative stress occurs as a result of ‘free radical’ toxins being given too free a rein in the body and, because of the bacterial imbalance this creates, can lead to the development of illness and disease, such as various cancers, diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis; too little glutathione in the body can lead to higher levels of oxidative stress, while more glutathione means higher antioxidant levels and, therefore, resistance to oxidative stress
  • Decreases liver cell damage – when cells in the liver become damaged and die, this may bring on fatty liver disease (whether the liver is exposed to the effects of alcohol abuse or not); the liver cell damage can be exacerbated by an antioxidant deficiency, which can be prevented by increased glutathione levels
  • Increases insulin resistance among older people – unfortunately, as they get older, people generate less glutathione, which means, according to studies, their bodies burn less fat; boosting their glutathione levels, then, can help to drive up their insulin resistance and ability to shed body fat
  • Improves mobility for sufferers of peripheral artery disease – this illness occurs due to plaque obstructing peripheral arteries, often in the legs; glutathione is believed to aid circulation in these arteries and to help peripheral artery disease sufferers walk further, pain-free
  • May combat the impact of autoimmune disease – owing to the fact autoimmune disease-caused chronic inflammation can drive up oxidative stress, glutathione is highly likely to reduce such oxidative stress (see above); autoimmune diseases concerned include the likes of celiac disease, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis
  • May address the effects of long-term high blood pressure and diabetes – linked to low glutathione levels and so, inevitably, oxidative stress, long-term high blood pressure (as well as uncontrolled diabetes) can be addressed, in this manner, via glutathione dietary supplements (especially when combined with cysteine and glycine).

The liposomal factor

Speaking of glutathione supplements, they’re certainly the source for this fantastic antioxidant that we recommend (as noted above). Yes, it’s definitely true you can try to boost your glutathione levels via specific foods, but that means incorporating into your diet *very* specific foods that are glutathione-rich. So, vegetables like asparagus, avocado, okra and spinach or raw/ very rare meat and unpasteurised milk/ dairy products – the latter of which are, of course, entirely unacceptable for vegetarians and/ or vegans.

Glutathione

Instead, at The Finchley Clinic, we especially advise glutathione supplements created via the outstanding liposomal process. What’s this? Well, if a supplement’s referred to as a ‘liposomal’ supplement, it means it’s been prepared with the aid of applied nano-particle technology, which ensures the glutathione is highly bioavailable; maybe more so than in any other equivalent supplement.

For instance, in the latest supplement of its kind – the delicious-tasting Liposomal Glutathione Vanilla and Apricot flavour – the liposomal process ensures its microscopic offerings of glutathione are each encased in a nano-sized liposome bubble, so the stability of the chemical can be maintained on its journey through the digestive system.

This means the glutathione isn’t compromised and broken down by any digestive acids, so – once it reaches the gut – it can be fully absorbed and get about doing its antioxidant work in the body’s cells. In fact, this nano-particle technology ensures the body absorbs a liposomal supplement’s nutrients between seven and 10 times better than it does the equivalent nutrients from any non-liposomal supplements. A stark difference, indeed.

All of which means, then, that just a little of a liposomal glutathione supplement goes a long way – and, over time, a lot of it goes a *very* long way. And that’s precisely why we recommend liposomal glutathione supplements so highly and urge both our loyal and new customers to give them a try if they want to boost their glutathione levels.

Do people who do not wear masks really “have blood on their hands”?

This was the claim made by a doctor on Sky News on January 2nd. I decided after hearing this rather bold claim to investigate whether it seemed to have any merit. The first thing I will say is that knowledge about the benefits or otherwise of mask wearing  is not a medical expertise, it’s a health and safety expertise. The SPECIFIC area of expertise that covers this subject are people qualified in the area known as “Occupational and environmental health toxicology”.  The expertise is a highly specialised area. Doctors are not trained to have any more expertise on this question than you or me, no matter how clean-cut, impressive and articulate they may appear when standing in their white coat of authority. So when I look for advice and information about whether wearing a snot filled bit of cotton covering (well let’s face it, actually blocking) my air passages, causing hypoxia and hypercapnia is actually going to make me healthier or unhealthier, or provide any protection against an illness, these are the people I am going to get my advice from. Not from some witless doctor on Sky News who has no more qualification on the subject than myself. So I sought, and I found.

And here it is….Mask Whisteblowers Tell All – with two occupational health safety professionals who are in fact trained to know about these things. I do hope you will take the time to watch this video prior to forming a fixed opinion. I share it for good reason.

Traditionally of course, masks were worn to prevent bacterial infection in surgical situations. They were never designed to prevent viral infections. This is primarily because they don’t.

But whoa….maybe even the experts shown in the video above are wrong, and I am fool to have any faith in them. Experts aren’t always right. So I decided to look into this in more depth for myself using the OurWorldInData.org web site. I began by looking at the date on which the geniuses who run our country made us start wearing airway and oxygen blocking rags over our faces. July 24th 2020. Here was the situation at the time….

And here is what happened after wearing an environmentally catastrophic rag over your face became compulsory up to the date in question…

Does this look like a policy that is working to you? Do you need to be Einstein to conclude that this does not look like a policy that has much value, perhaps has no value at all, and that maverick doctors like retired G.P. Dr Vernon Coleman and quite a few others may be right in thinking this policy is not merely ineffective but downright harmful? (And is it not interesting that the doctors who do speak out are often retired? Is it because they have dementia, or is it because they are finally free to speak their minds because they cannot lose their jobs?). Have you noticed the disgusting damage to the environment where you live? Let’s not even discuss the number that will end up in the oceans of the world and the detrimental effect they will have there.

Should you break the law and refuse to wear a mark?

Personally, I am wearing a worthless and probably harmful piece of irritating cotton over my face when I go shopping – though reluctantly and with huge resentment. I am utterly sick of being told what to do by other people, but I cannot reccomend people to break the rules.

“Covid denial”

Most of my readers know that I disagree with pretty much every aspect of public policy concerning the handling of COVID-19. I have had a few people (minimal admittedly) contact me to tell me to shut up, and that I do not have a right to express my opinion. Some have said I am a “Covid deniar” – a horrid phrase, which willfuilly and frivolously paraphrases the term “holocaust deniar” referencing the appalling murder of millions of people from one religion, in an attempt to censor those who do not agree with public policy. In fact quite a large number of my friends have had the Covid virus, with varying degrees of severity, so the only thing I “deny” is the wisdom of public health policy. This is because it’s not a health policy, its an illness policy, and not one I agree with. One person wrote to me to inform me that I am an “Idjit”, which I can only assume is the name of a member of an obscure native American tribe, which is also, I am afraid, erroneous. And others have said that I am a “conspiracy theorist”, which seems to refer to more or less anyone who may have the temerity to disagree with government policy or the philosophy of most (but not all) medical doctors that inform that policy, and I should therefore be censored, no-platformed and so on. Well, sorry guys, but I am not going to go away, though if you hate my newsletters obviously you have every right to hit the unsubscribe button and this will end the torture for good and you can remain in blissful denial of the possibility of anyone but yourself even potentially having a valid opinion, worthy of discussion.

Where it comes to placing rags on our faces, I think the evidence above combined with the Mask Whisteblowers Tell All video will be enough to at least sow a degree doubt into the minds of anyone who thinks rationally. Others have the right to disagree with me, and I have no objection to rational, calm disagreement.

Either way, I will never change my view, which is that that the best way of promoting health is to promote wellness rather than fight illness. Wearing a rag over your airways, impairing proper oxygenation of the body is not a step which predisposes a person towards better health. Here are some steps that in my opinion, do…

1. Oxygen Elements Max or Oxylift

I mentioned the uselsss face rags which cause hypoxia (improper oxygenation, because you can’t breathe properly). Oxygen Elements Max and Oxylift are similar products, both designed to create an oxygenating reaction in the body via a rather complex enzymic reaction that they set off in the body. Where it comes to harmful microorganisms below are the results of some tests carried out on Oxylift soon after it was launched, which the supplier was kind enough to share with me at the time, against a range of microbes that we would be best off not having in our bodies. I’m no microbiologist but you don’t have to be to see that appears to show that it killed all of the microorganisms tested by the 7th day, with no regrowth detected by the 14th day.

As these are amongst our most popular products, and we have sold them for many years, we have built up quite a lot of positive customer reviews over the years, which you can view on the website for yourself for inspiration. People often report that these products alone make flus and colds a thing of the past, not to mention give them a tremendous energy boost.

2. Keep some naturally healthy herbal antivirals / immune boosters in stock, which in our experience have no harmful side effects

Galangal Formula – formulated to prevent viruses. In times of urgent need you can ignore the label dosage and take 4 capsules 3 x per day.

Camu Formula – formulated to boost immunity. In times of urgent need you can ignore the label dosage and take 4 capsules 3 x per day.

“These formulae have been developed because we were dissatisfied with currently available products. Using our test system (Vega Biokinesiology), we find that single herbs “power score” (a measure of efficacy) 5-20, currently available herbal formulae power score 15-30, and our formulae power score 35-50. We therefore believe that our formulae are up to three times more effective than existing herbal formulae. The herbs used in our formulae have been selected purely empirically, without recourse to the literature. For each formula we screen hundreds of herbs and then having made the initial choice we test for antagonism, synergism, allergenicity and tolerability before we decide on the final selection. In all we conduct around three thousand separate tests for each formula.”

Other anti-viral botanicals you might like to consider include herbs like Cat’s ClawPau d’ArcoOregano Oil, and Gingko Biloba.

3. Vitamin C – Come on guys, surely you all know about this already by now! If you don’t you really aren’t trying! The best selling one we provide, on which we also get consistently good feedback is this one. Cheap, effective, with a lot of very positive customer reviews. Vitamin C is described by cardiologist Dr Thomas Levy as “an absolute anti-viral”, as have many others before him.

4. Vitamin D – In worthwhile dosages of 5,000 iu per day, preferably with Vitamin K2 – not the completely useless dosages recommended by the government which will have no effect whatsoever on immunity. I’ve covered this subject many times over the last year in depth, so I am not going to keep repeating the same thing. But cutting a long story short, the people who die of Covid-19 are nearly always vitamin D deficient, and just supplementing with this alone (in serious dosages) will make an astonishing difference to viral disease outcomes, in a profoundly positive way.

I’m not suggesting here that this is the be all and end all, but there is a limit to how much information I can squeeze into one newsletter. So go and do your own research as there are countless food supplements that improve your health and ward off harmful microorganisms. I’m getting bored of writing newsletters about viruses, and I intend to make this the last one on this subject for a while, but I have been intending to cover the obvious stupidity and worthlessness of wearing snotty rags over our faces in order to make us healthy, rather than taking steps that genuinely make us healthy, and support immunity and viral resistence for the last six months. Hopefully you will appreciate that living in a socially distanced bubble, staying indoors lying on the sofa watching TV, reducing social contact (since when did giving someone a hug weaken our immune systems, given that every study ever conducted on hugging has said the exact opposite), and wearing rags over our airways is not the right approach to building robust, powerful, youthful immunity.

Have a good weekend

Optibac Probiotics: the optimum choice for gut health?

Regular readers of this blog will, no doubt, be aware of just how important the digestive system is to the body’s overall health. Others, though, may not be. Not only is this part of the body responsible for the ingestion and processing of all the food and drink we consume, it’s also responsible for the gathering and processing of all nutrients and vitamins from our food and drink.

As such, then, it’s fundamentally where the immune system is based and where the tackling of many health-threatening illnesses, especially viruses and infections, begins – and, the bacteria in our gut actually plays a critical role in this, meaning it’s important this bacteria is balanced.

What does this mean? Well, when this colon-based bacteria – referred to as the microbiome – is out of whack (that is, harmful, externally-derived ‘bad bacteria’ outnumbers the health-enriching ‘good bacteria’), you can run into health problems. Indeed, many people are increasingly turning to good-quality, naturally-sourced probiotic products, which are packed full of those good bacteria, to get that gut balance right.

That’s all well and good, you might think, but what health problems are we talking about – how to know you may need probiotics…?

Digestive discomfort

With 90% of the human body’s bacteria calling the colon home, it’s hardly surprising all this bacteria can have a big influence on how the colon acts. A high-quality probiotic can be a great aid in both regulating bowel movement and potentially combating digestive discomfort, such as bloating and wind/ gas.

Moreover, research points to a connection between changes in gut bacteria (i.e. an increase in bad bacteria and a reduction in good bacteria) and age-related inflammation, thereby suggesting a boost to good bacteria levels could be important for health as we get older.

Major sugar cravings

You are what you eat, so the saying goes. While, strictly speaking, there’s only some truth in that, it does seem to be true that when we eat more of the foods we shouldn’t (those packed with saturated fats), it’s the bad bacteria in our colon encouraging us to eat them because they’re what *the bacteria* wants to eat. Sounds weird, right? Actually, it’s pretty smart – and probably should be concerning.

The fact of the matter is, for the harmful bad bacteria to survive, it needs to feed on – from its perspective – the right kind of food in your digestive system; namely, the sugars found in saturate fat. Therefore, it appears the bacteria eventually works out how to persuade you to eat more of that food to sustain its existence.

How can bacteria possibly do this? Well, there’s a nerve called the vagus nerve, which connects the gut with the brain, and experts believe bad bacteria in the microbiome uses this nerve to send signals to the brain; effectively asking us to eat the foods it needs.

Strains of bacteria are competitive, so some seek more of their food to crowd out their rivals and others, it seems, are even able to persuade someone’s taste buds to prefer their foods. Plus, some bad bacteria, evidence suggests, may adapt themselves to favour low fibre/ high sugar food diets that too many of us like – so, essentially, like their hosts, these bad bacteria have gained a sweet tooth.

A slowing metabolism

Findings from research, courtesy of Washington University School of Medicine, suggest people whose microbiome comprises a small variety of bacteria (that is, more bad than good) are more likely to be obese. Interesting? Yes, because it could indicate when bad bacteria are allowed free reign in your digestive system, you develop a slower metabolism and, therefore, a strong likelihood of your body retaining (saturate) fat and putting on weight and, eventually, becoming obese.

You’ve taken antibiotics – especially recently

To be clear, at the right time, antibiotics can be a critical treatment for sufferers of various different conditions – they even save people’s lives, of course. However, owing to their potency, antibiotics can harm even an otherwise healthy microbiome, killing off good bacteria there, in addition to whatever hazardous bacteria that’s invaded the body for which the antibiotics have been prescribed.

Skin issues (return)

Skin issues like eczema, psoriasis and itchy rashes are fundamentally associated with adolescence, but they can run well into and crop up again in adulthood. One of the reasons can be gut bacteria imbalance, believe it or not.

Indeed, research has found that the quality of bacteria residing in the digestive system can influence, well, the quality of one’s skin. Equally, then, a healthy microbiome can put things right with your body’s outside appearance – clear, healthy-looking skin being a by-product of getting your gut’s bacteria under control.

Optibac Probiotics

Optibac Probiotics

By now, then, it ought to be clear that improving your gut health and balancing out the bacteria in this part of your body may well be the answer for a wide range of health issues – in addition, of course, to adopting healthier eating habits and getting your diet right.

Indeed, by all means, take a look at our ‘Probiotics’ product page, here at The Finchley Clinic, to discover the different, entirely naturally-sourced, high-quality probiotic options available. A good example, we think, is the popular Optibac Probiotics for Every Day Extra Strength. Available in packets/ bottles of 90 capsules, it’s both vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, being a premium product that offers 20 billion live microorganisms, including five probiotic strains, not least the well-researched, highly regarded L. acidophilus NCFM – all for improved digestive health, immunity and energy levels.

So, who knows, it could be this probiotic product – or another, available through us – that proves just the thing to replenish those all-important good bacteria levels in your microbiome.

Joint-up thinking: introducing NADH Arthros (NADH for Arthritis)

Arthritis is a highly common and indiscriminate ailment. It may mostly afflict older people, yet it’s so widespread complaint that it’s estimated, by the year 2040, 78 million people in the USA alone will suffer with arthritis. At first, this figure may sound rather remarkable, but then, when one considers just how common arthritis is in society, it becomes less outlandish; more very plausible.

All the more reason, then, whether you live in the United States or the UK (or, indeed, anywhere else) to be aware of just exactly what arthritis is, how to best treat it and how, if possible, prevent it occurring in the first place.

What is arthritis?

Not actually a single ailment, arthritis has up to 100 specific types, all of which come with differing manifestations and symptoms. In simple terms, though, arthritis occurs when someone experiences joint inflammation or joint disease; therefore, it tends to affect large joints in the body’s extremities – especially hands, wrists, fingers, knees, hips and ankles.

Without doubt, experiencing arthritis in the hands is common for a great number of sufferers, causing the likes of swelling, pain, stiffness and a limited amount of motion in the joints of the wrists and fingers. On the one hand, flare-ups in the hand can be very regular; on the other, people can go weeks a time between them.

Worse, though, sufferers can experience chronic arthritis in the hands, which makes even simple tasks difficult to complete; unfortunately, it doesn’t just affect the joints between bones, but also the cartilage that covers the surface of any bones near a joint, as well as the ligaments and tendons that connect and support the hand’s bones.

The different forms of arthritis that can affect your hands include:

  • Osteoarthritis – the most common form, this chronic condition sees the cartilage at your joints degrade and break down, ensuring your bones rub against each other, thereby causing stiffness, pain and movement-loss
  • Rheumatoid arthritis – a chronic inflammatory condition that occurs when the body’s immune system unnecessarily attacks the synovium membrane, which lines the hand’s joints; symptoms tend to be pain, swelling, inflammation, loss of function and even malformation of the wrist and finger joints
  • Juvenile arthritis – occurs in children and adolescents under the age of 16 and comes in different forms, resulting in pain and joint-swelling in the hands and wrists; it’s often precipitated by broken bones in the hands or by ligament and tendon damage in hands or wrists.

Arthritis treatments

Given its debilitating factor (i.e. symptoms only get worse in the long-term), arthritis is a disease that requires early detection for the best, most effective treatment. Many medical professionals tend to advocate aggressive treatment deployed in the early stages; indeed, you might well find such an expert referring to a ‘window of opportunity’ here – it’s often deemed to be within two years after the disease’s initial onset.

Now, while some arthritis treatments a sufferer may be recommended aren’t on the aggressive side (for instance, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs – or NSAIDs – to help ease pain and inflammation), oftentimes aggressive treatment is, as mentioned, the recommended way to go. In extreme cases, even surgery could be deemed necessary, in order to correct or alleviate critical issues, especially if arthritis is starting to result in serious restrictions to movements of a limb/ limbs and, therefore, quality of life.

Arthritis prevention

There may not necessarily be a fail-safe way to prevent developing arthritis, especially in later life, but there are definitely some things you can try. It’s also worth pointing out that arthritis is more likely to occur in women than men and could be hereditary; your genetics may well increase the likelihood of it happening. All the same, prevention’s strongly advised to try to keep it at bay and to reduce its potential severity in later years and, to that end, you might want to try the following activities:

  • Try to keep to a healthy weight
  • Don’t smoke/ quit smoking
  • Take care in a labour-intensive job to avoid injury to your joints when lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects
  • Practice good posture, especially if you’re employed in a desk-bound job; consider using a special keyboard, a wrist cushion or a pad for keyboard-typing
  • Take up hand exercises to strengthen your hands’ muscles, to relieve stiffness and pain and to increase synovial fluid-function in the cartilage between their joints
  • Try to take breaks when doing strenuous or repetitive activities.
NADH Arthros

Arthritis prevention supplements

Additionally, you could attempt to accommodate all the above steps with trying out an arthritis-focused, high-quality and totally naturally-sourced supplement. Newly available from us, at The Finchley Clinic, is the latest in the long line of Professor George Birkmayer’s NADH supplements – namely, NADH Arthros (NADH for Arthritis).

If you’re yet to learn about – let alone try any of the – NADH supplements, you doubtless won’t be aware they’re very popular with our regular customers; NADH itself being the shortened version of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydride, a co-factor of more than 1,000 different essential enzymes in the human body. In its excellent supplement form, here, NADH is a potent antioxidant, may boost energy levels and stamina, reduce fatigue, protect against dementia and may help to provide energy to the brain, nerves, muscles and the heart.

Moreover, NADH Arthros – this new, specialised supplement offering – delivers a combination of NADH with glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and MSM (sulphur). Why? Because, when blended together, they may well contribute to the body keeping arthritis at bay. Indeed, the suppliers suggest you may well reap benefits if you take the supplement for up to four weeks; we would more conservatively suggest a regimen of NADH Arthros for two months is a better bet. However, unless our customers try it, we can’t be sure – so why not give it a try and let us know…?
